Is Italy vs UK REALLY an even match?

These is my impressions - not a deep dive into the weapons, so with that said I think the UK is given much better weapon systems than the Italians -

Spitfire > C202EC
Whirlwind >>>>>>>> Ba 88
Bren >> Breda
Crusader >> Semovente (Crusader has HE, MG, turret, faster and faster firing, more ammo - I have almost run out of ammo with Semovente and also Crusader HE)

I do almost like the Mannlicher > SMLE but the No 4 is at least as good I think - much prefer its sight over the SMLE

2 Italian SMG’s in total = Sten IMO - 1 is better, 1 is worse

And it is only 1 of the problems so there’d still be plenty!

Ideally I think both tanks should be changed - UK to Crusader II, Italy to M14/41, Whirlwind to Hurricance IV??

Not sure about the fighters…

Yeah there was some really bad decisions made here, the UK should have the Hurricane or P-40 instead of the spitfire, and the italians should get a C202 with bombs.

Honestly the whirlwind needs to go, but what can it be replaced with in game already? If someone had actually tested the balance before, we could have got the Hampden as an event vehicle which would have been perfect.

Bren and Breda are fairly equal, the Bren is a bit better but that should be countered with more SMGs on the italian side, which also makes up for the worse rifle. Could add more carcano’s too that way.

The M1918 and OVP were mistakes to add though, they shouldnt have been there, it should just be M38’s or similar.

And yeah the elephant in the room, the Crusader is so much more powerful.

If only we had the Crusader 2, that would have been perfect, but honestly an A13 would fit in as well, especially if vs the M14/41.

Spitfire dumpsters everything, yeah, but I personally prefer the Ba88 lol
Crusader is kinda better, but the Semovente has surprisingly large AoE, even with its “non-HE” round. It does kinda suck when the enemy tankers are a bit too sentient, especially given the fact that the infantry AT weapon options are more of an emotional support than actual damage dealing kinda thing
The actual infantry weapons I find are mostly on par
Overall I’m having a blast
