If so, under which circumstances?
I thought we couldn’t send weapons between the various campaigns?
You can, if you buy it in stalingrad and send it back ex: G41, you only payed 1 silver order for it but pay about 30 something bronze orders to any campaign because it always becomes 3+2 = 6 stars and that’s expensive. Sending stuff to stalingrad I’m not sure about.
What I am currently doing for upgrading my 9 Rifleman III n00b tube squad for Normandy. I do have the easy version of Stalingrad as I bought it.
Kar98k with GGP/40 Cost 3 silver in Stalingrad and you get a 5 out of 6 star weapon.
Upgrade from 5 star to 6 is 10 Bronze
Transfer to Normandy is 34 bronze.
6 star weapon for 3 silver & 44 bronze
The same weapon in Normandy is 3 Silver got a 4 out 6 star weapon. 5 stars is 20 bronze with max discounts and another 39 bronze to get that 5 stars to 6.
6 star weapon for 3 Silver & 59 bronze.
Thing is, I have a million SVT-40s in Berlin, and according to my initial impression it might be more efficient to first send them to Stalingrad, upgrade them there, and semd them back.
But I’ll have to test.
Speaking of conversion rates:
Should I want to buy weapons with silver just to sell them and get the refund bronze, which ones grant the best bronze/silver exchange?
(Being an active player + Elite BP, one tends to have far more silver to buy guns than bronze to upgrade them.)
I’d guess higher rank weapons (3 silver each) grant higher amount of bronze each, since they come 3 stars minimum and up to 6 with luck, but I wonder if perhaps buying low or intermediate guns (1 or 2 silver each) may actually provide a globally higher bronze payback per silver spent.
Has anyone done the math yet?
This is how much Bronze you can get for each Star, all values are with +100% extra Bronze from squad upgrades:
As you can see your best bet would be to buy weapons for 1 Silver as you can get the most Bronze per Silver that way, with a bit of luck of course.
1 Silver weapon (4 Stars) = 2-8 Bronze (worst
= 2 Bronze per 1 Silver; best
= 8 Bronze per 1 Silver)
2 Silver weapon (5 Stars) = 4-10 Bronze (worst
= 2 Bronze per 1 Silver; best
= 5 Bronze per 1 Silver)
3 Silver weapon (6 Stars) = 6-16 Bronze (worst
= 2 Bronze per 1 Silver; best
= 5,33 Bronze per 1 Silver)
Edit: It’s totally different for Stalingrad Full Access, it’s not worth at all to buy and then sell weapons in Stalingrad.
Thank you very much, that’s exactly what I wanted to know.
You can send weapons to Stalingrad. You can even send the Breda machinegun from Axis to Soviets.
So if you fully upgrade the SVT-40 in Berlin, you´d have to pay 18 bronze tickets.
If you send it to Stalingrad with 1 Star you pay 4 bronze tickets and fully upgraded back, costs you 9 bronze orders. I dont remember how much it is to upgrade it in Stalingrad.
personally, i usually buy weapons from stalingrad, upgrade them, and then send them to others campaigns.
saves me the trouble of spending lots of bronze and above all, waste time with specific squad requirement in order to upgrade them.
so technically, i only have to grind stalingrad with all squads for later one distribuite those weapons elsewhere.
i did it with the mg 34s.
