My main goal is to unlock the new AS-44, and I already have the Fedorov Avtomat unlocked in Moscow.
Would that mean, that when the merge comes I would be able to immediatly start grinding for the AS-44?
Im curently almost at level 26 of the campaign which means I almost have the PPSh-41 unlocked.
Should I even grind Berlin at this point?
Or is the merge update still very far away?

AS-44 is a copy / paste of StG 44. The same damage, the same rate of fire and - the same recoil.
For me - it is not worth the grind, as the AVT-40 and Fedorov are better.

To be sure, test the premium as44 squad in practice range. Get the feel of it.
My answer woukd be no… Since Fedorov is broken and beats everything. It’s high damage will output as44, even if it has slightly (yes, fedov recoil is broked too) less recoil than fedov.

You grind Berlin for three reasons:
IS2 tanks
Box PPSh (and maybe PPS)
AS-44 (Only if you dont like Fedorov for some Soviet Main reason)
Nobody cared about planes unless they are Ju 188 pr P-47 and rest can be grinded in campaigns where Soviets dont face actual competition.

Also the real stats?
Premium AS-44 has exactly the same real stats as StG 44, so I assume that this one should have the same.
Moreover - Fedorov is more accurate (less dispersion) than AS-44.
Yes of course, because the AS44 will be placed in the middle between Ppsh 41 and Fedorov in terms of damage, accuracy, recoil and magazine capacity.
