Irl, these things were used for destroying tank tracks but in Enlisted, they were able to kill a whole tiger 2 in Berlin test. I’m starting to feel like explosion pack is too overpowered in this game. In real life armies developed Anti-Tank grenades like RPG-33 because explosion packs were not great at penetrating armor. Even Anti-Tank grenades had to be placed on top or underneath the tank to properly damage it. Small pack of Explosives should not be that OP. I think devs should nerf them and introduce AT grenades but also remove grenade indicator for tanks so players will have to find a good spot to plant explosives
What are you talking about? 9/10 times they don’t even throw a track unless they’re directly under a tank.
Then I must be very lucky killing 3-5 tanks every match with explosion packs. Also, every time I die in a tank, it’s in 90% of situations by explosion packs
Most of the time they do nothing to panzers when I get one within 5m of them.
You nuts? 5m is far even for a 100kg bomb. In Enlisted, it needs to be at least 1m away from the target but irl, it shouldn’t even be able to kill a tank with more than 25mm of armor
Explosives do seem to be performing inconsistently however.
I’ve had a lot of instances where an enemy was closer to my grenade or explosive pack than I was, but the explosion only killed me when they weren’t even downed by it.
well, i mean, back in the days destroying a tank wasn’t that complicate, even a molotov could have knocked out panzers.
and yes, high explosives charge could have easiliy kill tanks. maybe not all the crew, but components, tracks, engine and many other weaker parts.
in elisted, those dynamite/c4 works just like a mine.
not to mention, all the tanks in the game have around ( from 15, up to 30 mm armor) which it’s not like any KVs or tigers.
although… i’m not confident in getting new grenates. because more rng. ( and it’s already hard to get those equipment for certain people)
but i don’t know, maybe it’s just me.
cheers.
I think they are just not making the real anti tank grenade. (realism???)
Even RO2 get one, different from explosive.
Are you talking about magnetic anti tank mines?
I would like to see something like that at one point, but it might be difficult to implement.
I always thought shotputting a 40 pound bundle of TNT like we do now was silly, but it seems like a stopgap.
