I can understand that invincibility is to prevent one side from being too strong, but why are players still invincible when they respawn at the fortification object? i don’t think its needed, because if you choose to respawn from fortification object, you should expect more enemies around you, and potentially be spawnkilled. Given the current setting, most engineers would choose to have fortification object close to frontline, players that choose to respawn from these fortification objects would have huge advantage because they get protection from an invincibility period while able to attack the opposition. I do think removing that invincibility status or shorten the invincibility period would make more sense.

Imo they should outright remove the invincibility from the rally points. In pretty much every game that has this feature they don’t have invincibility. Doing so would make it a choice to spawn at a potentially vulnerable forward rally point rather than at the base spawn. As it is everyone just spawns on the closest rally point because even if its in an open field they have the time to look around and shoot multiple enemies all while being invincible. In this game specifically with its high damage, high range, high accuracy weapons its just utterly broken.
