Yesterday I took these photos of a Moroccan Royal Guard in Rabat. His rifle is a modified, decorated and shortened Spanish Mauser 1893. Seems to be a custom made model, becaused I found no trace of an official shortened variant of Mauser 1893 which kept the original straight bolt.
This is not a suggestion, I just wanted to share this with fellow Enlisted players.
