How about focus on fixing the current problems and adding some QOL changes maybe.
in no particular order:
- This one is honestly a lost cause but , AI : if we mark location inside the building, they should GO INSIDE said building, not stand on the other side of the wall getting shredded by enemy mg.
- increase the range at which they keep following orders, maybe add it as a final skill in squad tech tree.
- make AI squads use rally points as spawn points ,instead of spawning several hundred meters away. ( not sure about this one tbh, i Hope that it`s just AI not using rally points and not idiot players that choose to spawn 200 meters away instead of 70)
- add crew inside tanks in training field, whats the point of having tanks that get 1shot cause they dont have any crew, also how can one practice where to aim their AT weapon to take out tank crew.
- others have already said but, fix plane damage models. sometimes you destroy them in a single burst, sometimes it take several magazines worth of ammo.
- add incentives for people to put engineers in theirs squads and use said engineers. ( more engineer specific missions, separate training mission, maybe even make it mandatory for a while. so you hammer it in their heads that engineers and rally points are major deciding factors between winning and losing.
