I strongly recommend that the development team should design more distinctive and interesting modification options for the “Bren APC” captured in the game from various countries. And this is entirely based on a rich historical foundation.
I once found out while researching:
· The Soviet forces installed a distinctive DS39 medium machine gun on the Bren gun carriage, which was truly eye-catching.
· The Japanese forces modified the Bren gun captured in India by adding weapons such as rapid-fire cannons.
· The German forces also had classic modification cases: they installed three “flame tube” rocket launchers and carried ten Iron Fist missiles, making it a mobile anti-tank fortress.
Looking at the current APCs in the games, most of them merely have their own specific types of machine guns, which are highly homogeneous and lack any surprises.
Therefore, I sincerely hope that future vehicles (such as the German Brunn that might be released) can break away from the monotonous concept of “two MGs”, draw inspiration from real historical modifications, and give each vehicle its own unique tactical positioning and camp characteristics. This will greatly enhance the depth and fun of the game.

By the way, another aspect is the color and design of the paint. I once mistakenly thought a Japanese Bren and an APC from our own faction were the same because they were too similar, and as a result, I made a wrong judgment. Therefore, I also want to have basic national emblem symbols or distinctive color schemes on these vehicles to represent them.

They did, the Soviets loved to modify the UC in all sorts of ways, tbh the soviets just loved to modify fucking everything in all sorts of ways too, like a large group of schizophrenic elf’s.
Memes aside, yes, it really should have been severly modified.
Like look at this, instead of getting an extremely shitty copy paste, with a tiny bit of work, we could have gotten a Japanese UC using what I think is a US made 37mm AT gun.
Also note for all the people with sticks up their asses who like to claim that the UC wasnt used as an APC and vehicles with support guns werent used as APCs, please note the squad sitting or riding in the back of the UC there.
That’s great! That’s exactly the picture I saw at the time. Unfortunately, I still didn’t get to see the original DS39 heavy machine gun. This feature is much more impressive than the Maxim gun.
What I will say, this quick dive makes me less angry about hte Japanese getting one, I just really really wish it was the 37mm armed version for the sake of distinction.
Because his firepower is stronger, more powerful and more intense. At least when placed together with two identical DP27s, having one with a more distinctive Soviet heavy machine gun would look more impressive. If you ask me, which is better between the motorcycle of the DS39 heavy machine gun and the DP27 motorcycle? I would still choose the DS39 one.
