Infinite campaign

Well scale the map up and the players and lets see where it goes - just join for atleast 20 mins to not get deserter when quitting.
Remove grey zones
Imagine d- day with 100 player teams on each side and the map being 5x larger with multiple capture zones etc.
Im up for it! Lets play around and have some fun

Spawn camping, and imagine the game having single digit framerate and constant server connection issue because the game barely handles 25vs25 squads and now you want it to handle 200 players

There is only 2 FPS games I know that can handle more than 200+ players, one being Planetsite and the other being Battlebit Remastered

Ya i know spawn camping can become a problem but having multiple spawn locations and a 10sec spawn infinite health could fix that - hopefully the internet and connections can be enginered in a way like planetside as mentioned

The server was never in single digits, it was still a normal frame rate. and the server load is usual in most of the time

no, we want to flank and destroy enemy rally points

I get angry when I hear beeping noises but I can’t roll in to destroy it

The game is falling apart as it is and you want to put 200 players in it with a bigger map???

The grey zone doesn’t only protect spawns, it extends well past that point on many maps.

There are better ways to reduce spawn camping: increase the number of default spawns and spread them over greater distances, place spawns in areas with better defilade, add ai controlled defensive guns near spawns as seen on carriers in the Pacific.

There is no grey zone protecting spawns on the train map in Berlin and spawn camping is generally a non-issue there. That’s a working in-game example of why aggressively placed grey zones that murder you in seconds are unnecessary as implemented.

well it is questionable about planetside handling 200+ players. yes you can have more than 200+ players on server, but i suspect that their server is more cluster of servers with actual one server doing the lift per region/battle. also with 200+ player battles in one spot game becomes desynced/laggy.

it is not so much about spawn rape, but more about camping vehicles. even extending it for 20-40 meters would help alot.

also default spawns shouldnt have direct line of sight from enemy and this is situation that is present in many maps.

Is 500 vs 500 players distributed in different grid of the map

i know what planetside is and how many players there are. it can work cause not all battles happen in same region. whenever you have big battles with 200+ players in same sector you get lags/desync.

I made a suggestion a while back for a larger scale version of “Invasion”, where its still the same number of players, but it covers like 5 total “maps”, with a couple objectives in between to be captured.
Each main location would progress similar to a normal game, except with the defenders able to see all objective locations and fall back to set up in advance.

Attackers get 7.5k tickets.

If you leave before 30 minutes in the fight, you get desertion effect. However, if you make it to 30 minutes you don’t get desertion effect AND you get additional points when the game finishes IF your team won.
If you play the FULL LENGTH you get a +200% bonus applied BEFORE win bonuses.

This would mean an EXTREMELY lucrative game mode, and good for players that like long fights.

i kind of want to remove the deserter thing all together because I have a busy schedule and i only get a little bit to play each day so I would like to remove that. So, in other words I agree.
