The bot idea is too bad , make individual soldiers like a conventional fps .
a) you can play lone fighters in custom lobby section (event tab)
b) go play cod or bfv

There is a mode for that called Lone Fighters. You can find it in Custom Matches section.
But no surprise here, it is almost dead anyway (just checked and right now there is only one server created with more than 3 players in it). It was never as popular as Squads, that is the main mode of Enlisted.
So if you are looking for “conventional fps” then maye it would be better for you to find another game.

While we’re at it, the WWII setting is bad, this should be a near-future game.
You know this game was designed around the squads mechanics so why would you want to get rid of a core mechanic

I definitely think the WW2 setting is better. Modern stuff gets to advanced to quick. Who knows in the future they may have modern campaigns as and possibly WW1.
Red orchestra did this quite well many years ago, that you could have human players instead of bots in your squad. They even had composition of squads right so no full auto only but smg was only for squad leaders. 90% people had to take bolt action rifle.
I hope I’ll be able to do similar thing if custom lobbies are improved. → More realistic and more historical game via custom lobbies + other stuff
The squads part of the game is what makes the game in my opinion. Otherwise it would just be another battlefield
