As far as I can tell there is no place to determine what level of troop (eg which sniper squad is Sniper I, II, III) a squad upgrades other than in the campaign ribbon?
I’d like to know which squad upgrades which troop level somewher in the squad interface itself plase.
Some may be able to remember it… I’m not one of them! 
On the upgrade section inside the squad,they state the soldier level said upgrades will influence.
It’s already present in-game.

Under the ‘Unlocks’ in the lower left of the level/ unit card
I’m going to resurrect this one, because IMO that is inadequate.
It only tells you what the troop type is if you click on one of the rank star levels - 3 star, 4 star, etc.
IMO it should be clear and obvious, not a bit ob scure.
