Increase xp rewarded from killing stronger soldiers

Similar to Warthunder’s Rank does not matter award, award new players for defeating veteran players.

well, i hardly think they are gonna create somewhat of a system to decide who is a veteran, and who not.

you have to take in consideration many factors. although a double xp for newer players until they reach a certain level it would be a good start and somewhat a partial fix. in order to make them unlock certain things, and based on that, continue with their skills.

but that’s just me.

Cheers ^^

Easy way would just be to have it based on individual soldier rank, which is already in the game. Or even based on player campaign level. I don’t think it’s necessary, but it could easily be implemented, I’m sure.

I’d support this. It doesn’t have to be huge, but getting a little higher score for each star the opposing soldier has when you kill him makes sense, and would make it all the more satisfying to wipe out an opposing premium squad.

What should you create a matchmaking on? We don’t even have enough players to have a game without bots and the players should be separated even more?
In my opinion, we need more players to create a good matchmaker

They’re not talking about adding any kind of ranked matchmaking, this is just adding xp bonus for killing higher ranked soldiers

Defining that would easily be abusable.
Take lower level soldiers, or use premium squad at low levels, or just use straight up smurf accounts.

thanks for the information, probably translated something wrong in my head, sorry

If it’s only exp for the individual soldier, why not?
The lower level soldier has fewer perks, so you’re at a disadvantage using them even if you have higher level soldiers available.

I already try to head my squads with them just to level them up faster.

The system implemented in War Thunder is Rank, Rank I ->VII. With Rank I tanks being pre WWII tanks/early models and VII being M1A2 Abrams. Battle Rating is roughly Rank X1.5, to further divide up the matchmaking. Panzer IIC is Rank I, BR 1.3. M1A2 Abrams is Rank VII, BR 10.7.

War Thunder’s system is if my Panzer IIC, a Rank I BR 1.3, kills an Abrams, a Rank VII BR 10.7, I would receive 30,000 In game currency [>BR4.0 difference, God Mode]. With the regular kill reward being 1,000 to 3,000.

I believe most of the folks here know the system very well as they are War Thunder veterans. But I think this needs explanation because Gaijin has been rewarding players for elevated rank kills.

of course the rank system is flawed as higher ranks don’t always mean higher BR

What about upgraded guns on low level soldiers vs unleveled guns on maxed soldiers?

Yeah, I dont see any possible of rank related matchmaking system, so to make game more balanced, using xp multiplier to reward you more when you are “weak”

  1. unbalanced human counts.
  2. encountered different campaign level players. campaign level mostly related to whether that player is stronger or weaker. He can choose to use stronger guns or weaker guns, that’s his matter.

Except RNG-based progression makes it so that you do not actually control whether you get any strong guns, unless you want to use the “guaranteed drop” crates that don’t actually guarantee drops, but even those do not guarantee upgrade success.
