Also a key role in being best trade friends with Nazi Germany, while they were fighting against Poland, France and Britain, and a key role in swallowing up Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bessarabia and part of Finland.

But this is not really talked about in our public discourse, schools or media, is it?
As if 1939-41 never happened.

Conveniently commemorating Great Patriotic War, but never Second World War.

As far as body armor in Enlisted goes – it needs to be cosmetic only.

Gimme that with the grey overcoat and I am SOLD.

But seriously. Body armor needs to be cosmetic ONLY and Jets need to be removed.

And what, exactly, are the arguments for this? I’ve always been confused by this. Body armor should only be cosmetic because… because?

Because cosmetic should not affect gameplay beyond appearance. It is in the name.
For that, we have backpack.

cosmetics should be just that, cosmetics. they should not affect gameplay besides maybe giving better camouflage. also another reason is that any gameplay affecting mechanic shouldnt just be available for premium currency(and event orders).

if body armor mechanic needs to be remain then it should go into bag slot, just as ammo bag and grenade bag that also affect gameplay.

And again, cosmetics should not affect gameplay simply because… they should not affect gameplay? I have an idea… Why don’t we take the opposite approach? Who said that cosmetics should not affect gameplay? Cosmetics should affect gameplay! Not just the cuirasses that need to be added to all countries, but all cosmetics in general! Imagine, for example, that you buy, say, this uniform for your soldier. And it has pouches for MP-40/Beretta magazines. Like this. Yes, he has MKB-35, but that’s not important, you understand the point.

And imagine that each of them gives you one extra magazine for your MP-40, for example. There are 6 of them in total, which means a total of 6 extra magazines for your submachine gun, in addition to the ammunition pouch in the ammunition pouch/grenade pouch/backpack slot. And so it is with every cosmetic option, for every faction, with all mechanics, not only with additional magazines, but with all other mechanics, additional grenades, medical kits, protection, EVERYTHING! With every helmet, every uniform, every pair of gloves, every pair of boots, which you buy in customization.

More customization makes game more deep, I like it

major problem of cosmetics is that it is not available for silver and it is only available for premium currency and event orders. thus they should not affect gameplay. that is why equipment slots exist and they can be bought with currency that every player can earn just by playing the game.

I don’t know who said you that fact that some things shouldn’t affect at gameplay. Even color of camo affects - sometimes a lot

if you have anything that affects gameplay mechanic in any meaningful way and it is only available for premium currency, then it is p2w mechanic and thus bad for game. ffs we already have functional “cosmetics” that are in equipment slot, just that they are available for silver.

But every player can also receive orders to change the appearance of soldiers. Just by playing the game, farming events, and Battle Pass. From boxes for daily enter into the game. As you can see, I have 242 of them, even though I haven’t donated a cent to the game.

Black coloring customization of vehicles available only for gold and it. And it helps a lot

i knew that you would put this argument.

difference is that there is no reliable way to earn them. and no events and BP arent reliable. they could change policy and stop giving those orders in events/BP tomorrow. ffs premerge they were rather rare and they only started pumping them post merge after every squad needed cosmetics for multiple campaigns.

if you want to implement functional cosmetic, then it should go to equipment slot. you want belts for extra magazines? get them to become equipment and buyable for silver.

Do we really need to explain that?
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Glossary:Cosmetic

You mean by events most people cant finish and BPs that last for thirty 30s, not helped by player population and BP tasks that are often antagonizing people’s playstyle or are even almost impossible to reach as defender?

I simply mean that there are games where cosmetics affect gameplay. So how is Enlisted so fundamentally different? And even if there are no such games, what prevents Enlisted from implementing its system with cosmetics that affect gameplay, as I described above?
