Gaijin is willing to listen to player feedback, which is good. But the current jeep squad size is really awkward. With only three soldiers, it is almost impossible to mount an effective counterattack. The experience of playing with only three soldiers is undoubtedly terrible. The jeep has no cover at all, so it is extremely vulnerable to fire. Although it does not take up a tank slot, it also cannot capture points efficiently. The mounted machine gun is little more than a minor extra; its damage is so low that it simply cannot suppress an infantry squad in a direct fight. And with so few squad members, there is very little margin for error—once someone goes down, the vehicle is basically out of the fight.
If that is the case, why would I not just use an APC? At least APCs have more soldiers and proper infantry protection, and when driven near the objective they can serve as a mobile spawn point. Their overall value is clearly higher.
Therefore, I suggest increasing the jeep squad size to at least five soldiers—one player-controlled soldier and four AI-controlled squadmates. The current three-soldier setup makes it very difficult for players to use jeeps normally and effectively. I hope the developers will consider this adjustment.
