the problem is no, because that doesn’t cut it, I have to play with you u know, it’s multiplayer game u know. If you come along and play like a noob not bringing all arms types, then it’s my problem, cause I don’t wanna loose casue u choose to play WW1 Infatry style…

But don’t take it too hard man, I was just mostly curious why and how u were on about here.

since I remember u complaining about Tanks firing from hill in Normandy, I mean using standard tactics of tanks in favourable position… now WW1 infatry tacts… Just had to check you

And if you were in my matches I didn’t notice you. Perhaps because you too were also very average.

No, I complained about greyzone camping. You know, from really average players who don’t play the game properly. But since we’ve had guerillas introduced to the game, greyzoning isn’t an issue for me any more, as I just use those squads to counter said average players.

Listen, if you have nothing constructive to contribute to the thread, simply move on. Another player having 10 infantry squads in their lineup doesn’t affect you in any way. I don’t understand why you’re so angry all the time. Go get that nice cuppa tea, sit in the garden and breathe in the spring air. You’ll feel better, I promise.

I’ll let you in on a little secret, just because I have a Tank in my lineup doesn’t mean I’ll use it. This would only make people that don’t play Vehicle squads more effective because they’d be able to prepare more infantry squads. If I don’t use the Tank anyways it’s more effective to have an infantry squad there that gets used.

i would argue differently. lots of times playing vehicles give suboptimal games cause rest of your team is shit. not building rallies, not pushing caps and not destroying enemy rallies. in most games i can simply ignore vehicles unless i am attacking/defending certain caps where they have godlike oversight to cap approach.

same here. most of the times when i am defending taking tank is a luxury cause i need to build rally points and defend cap point cause team is shit. when attacking i am more relaxed with taking tank cause i am not under pressure of my shit team and can farm kills.

yes but all the issues you mentioned stems from the rest of the team being utter noobs am i right?
If all scrub atleast managed to build a rally point now and then and stay close to objective ur good to go.
But I do feel you, using the vehicles are sometiems a luxury since one has to work like a badger to overcome that 60% of teams players are utter complete failures. It’s jsut facts u all know it

I think the best solution is increasing the amount of players. I’ve felt 10 players is a bit too small. I heard Warthunder Infantry is testing 64 vs 64.

My biggest dream for this was like 50 vs 50. I don’t know if its possible but I wish the amount of players could be increased

It’s easy to play as a tank when there’s about 30 other players defending instead of 8

it would certainly give another life to the game if they increased player amount.

This game has a unique position because it’s one of the few WW2 shooters in recent history, for people who like historical games as opposed to the plethora of “modern shooters”

I’ve always thought to myself how tiny the game is when compared to like Battlefield. Somehow they can manage 64+ while we’re stuck with 10. Sure our AI squad makes it feel a little bigger but even then it still feels small. 10 makes sense for games like Cod because it’s an arena shooter but this game is a combined arms shooter with large maps. It should be big.

I think 50 vs 50: 30 infantry+10 tanks+10 planes is the “most reasonable” increase because it’s a nice even number. It feels just about right so we can actually simulate battles. Although if even bigger was possible that’s not a bad thing :sweat_smile:

if games ran on feelings then you would be correct, but they run on hardware and software and as such are limited by their limitations.

if you check links that i posted in post above you will see server limitations

that is why he said this in other post

having bots makes game have more demanding for servers and client. in lone fighter, game supports way more players

so increasing the player number per match will give you 2 bottlenecks: server/network and minimum computer spec. it is entirely possible that the game wont be playable on ps4 and low end computers if they increase players per match.

Then maybe 1 or 2 players would have the idea of actually as infantry protect the teams tanks… wouldn’t that be awesome!

too me some Maps could clearly be expanded, they are often restricted off to create forced pathways, I hate that, and many Maps are downright too small for this game.
As for player size, I mean they struggle to keep the performance of the game and servers running, i don’t see them being able to pull of any larger player maps sadly

this could be easily solved if they actually increased overall maximum number of slots. considering number of squads people can have current number of slots is not enough. this limitation worked when game was designed and campaigns had 20 or 30 levels with 10-15 squads, but now it is lacking…

True. 12 Slots Standard + 2 Event Slots and 2 Premium Slots somethign liek that would be fine, to me atleast

It definitely needs moved up a bit, depending how many slots you own. After all, it is a squad based game and would hope that devs limit the WT players here from how many vehicles you can spawn in a row.
