The Type Hei Automatic rifle has relatively low damage, only 13.9, which is lower than FG422’s 15.3, forcing players to shoot an extra bullet or even more to take down high-health enemies. The Soviet chest armor damage reduction further lowers the damage dealt by the Type Hei Automatic rifle, often leading to a shortage of ammunition. My suggestion is to either add two more magazines or increase the Type Hei Automatic rifle’s damage to promote balance. At the same time, I would like to thank my brother @Lookin4n8Bal-live for his help, which helped me understand how to set up other options, and also thank the forum administrator @Euthymia07-live for paying attention to this post.I don’t know if the @ I typed will actually notify that guy. If there’s a better way to @ him directly, please let me know in the comments.
Simply drop the Hei magazine size to 20 rounds, then it will have 100 additional rounds, same as the FG42, same as the AVT 40-20 and same as the T-20. If you’re going to give the Japanese an additional magazine, then you need to give all the other factions an additional magazine. Statistically, the Hei is far from lacking compared to the others, so, IMOP without giving them a smaller magazine, I would personally not be in favor of allowing an additional magazine. Here is a comparison of the BR5 semi auto’s, and I left out the M2 carbine and the FG42 in favor of the FG42 II.
Then please increase his damage before making changes. If the damage is kept consistent with others, that’s also a good choice, as he can kill high-health soldiers and Soviet chest-armored soldiers in one shot. However, in a previous post, the admin suggested increasing the magazine capacity
However, the total amount of bullets has not changed, so more bullets are needed to kill high-health soldiers and Soviet chest armor soldiers, resulting in a greater shortage of ammunition. After the Soviet chest armor damage reduction, 13.9 * 0.9 = 12.5, which is less than 13.5, requiring two bullets, while the FG422’s 15.3 * 0.9 = 13.77, which is greater than 13.5, only requires one bullet to kill
For the most part, all of the ones I listed I believe are two shot kill, so I don’t think raising the damage would make that much difference. I carry the M2 Carbine over the T-20 because I can carry over twice the ammo. It is a trade off as the M2 only has a max damage of I believe 8.8 vs the 15.3 T-20. So, I choose the less damage and more ammo. If I could carry the same amount of ammo with the T-20 it would be a no brainer and the M2 would strictly be my radioman backup weapon.
I don’t use the Hei because I don’t play BR5 Japanese, although I have one that has not been upgraded and it sits in inventory.
you mean that the gun with 30 rounds and high firing speed without recoil still needs to be buff? In addition, killing soldiers wearing Soviet armor only requires 2 shots 。so i choise no
It would be best to confiscate the AVT4020, after all, the AVT40 can kill a soldier with just one bullet, whereas Japan needs two bullets. What do you think?
Dude, they responded on your last one telling you what everyone else is… it’s a balancing decision to give it less reserve because it has 10 more in the mag.
I disagree. 30 rounds are offset by 13.9 damage. In practice, the Autohei requires two hits on an enemy, even at point-blank range, especially if the enemy is wearing body armor. Therefore, the number of rounds in its magazine can be divided by two. That’s only 15 potential kills. While other auto rifles can get 20 kills from a single magazine.
Therefore, artificially reducing the Autohei’s extra magazines is completely unjustified.
