New event probably
On the 28th of November 1944, the Normandie-Niemen squadron of french pilots (famous for flying Yak-3) was given Battle awards for their action over the Neman river which was thus incorporated in their name.
Given the date I guess this could indeed be an interesting event.
This could be also an event squad with a french pilot for the soviets, though I doubt so given that we did not have many plane event squads.
For the curious, this squadron is still in active service as part of the French Air Force.

Interestingly, in 2024, a French volunteer team also named “Normandie-Niemen” appeared as a drone operator within the Russian Federation forces.
