This point keeps being understated.
The only material outcome of losing is a missed opportunity of extra XP bonus.
Which is frustrating when the goal is focused on grinding levels.
But, imo, it doesn’t totally spoil the fun one can have in a match.
I’m seriously tempted to quit only when I happen to meet enemies that consistently keep killing me in all encounters, without managing to fight back. THAT I call becoming a punching bag, and not fun.

If I join team, pick tank and first objective is taken sooner than I even reach it, I don’t bother to play with such team.

I’m against the total removal of victory bonus, but I could agree with a system where its magnitude is decreased (as long as the base XP earning is increased accordingly, of course) so that it doesn’t outweigh personal performance as significantly as now.

The current bonus is just creating rng based toxic environment. And I will keep deserting losers and bots.
And If they choose to keep create punishments for players like me instead, I will simply uninstall this game and start playing something else. It’s thats simple.

This issues s solely based about intentionally designed system from which benefits only complete casuals. They’ll get quite relevat bonus to grind from time to time just because they joined good team. Or worse, they’re playing more popular faction.
Not a single invested player benefits from ths toxic design. And bonus for playing random factions s more insult than anything. That’s not solution.

I can’t believe people are trying to justify quitting the games. If you quit it is because you are a poor player, period.
Some of the excuses like people don’t like the game mode or map are just weak. I have played all the maps in the game and there are not any maps that I would say are “bad”. There are, I believe, 4 game modes in the game and again, none of them are “bad”. If you think you got a “bad” map or game mode, then that is a skill issue, not a game issue. If you want to choose a specific map or game mode then create a custom game.
The truth is these people entered a game and got killed once or twice and saw the enemy was putting up a fight so they got scared and quit–which of course screws over the rest of the team who wants to stay and fight which is the point in a video game about war.
If the enemy team is steamrolling as bad as some of you say, then the match will be over in under 10 minutes anyway, so you may as well just stay and get some points from rallies or kills or jump in a plane and just bomb and strife to get whatever you can get. You will end up with more XP then just quitting.
I never quit games and I have had games where the enemy team is doing good for the first half, but then they get slack and lazy. Like on defense, I have had games where the we are down to defending the last point and the enemy has like 600 tickets still. But by using a little strategy and putting a rally in a good place and setting down barbed wire and obstacles, we drained the enemy tickets all the way down to zero and won.
After the game was done, the top few guys on the enemy team with all their flare around their names had got fed up and quit the game early, which meant we were just fighting off the bad players and bots by the end of the match. Again, we won and got a ton of XP cause the match took like 30 minutes. Games do not just go in one direction, especially in modes like Conquest, its a tug of war.
I think the problem is more with the users and their general maturity level then with the game. I get the feeling some players nowadays cannot concentrate on anything for more then 10 minutes without checking their phones or social media like an addict.
It will only benefit player who already have all campaigns done, just more xp for them.
4-stacking vets will see this as free xp boost.

kahif cave village with 200m run from spawn to objective is plain bad, map could be better, but objectives and spawn placement suck most.
Not even gonna mention all those new maps that are just invasion from diffrent side, with no regard on how it effects balance, lazy and unbalanced, i would say they are bad.
That explains why 10 people quit train maps before match even start, wow such insights

Example, Normandy defense invasion, when defending second to last objective at destroyed church, defenders have 60m from defaul spawn to objective
Shortest spawn run in any map, def not imbalanced, and we won by skill, and def not throwing bodies at point faster than enemy.
It’s so imbalanced i don’t even defend first 3 points, as this one alone can kill 1000+ supply of germans.

Sorry, I haven’t slept much for past week. And since I am quite triggered, my mind really isn’t much clear.

While I agree that engineering points definitely need an increase to value, I think assists should still be worth what they are.
As far as tankers sitting back farming kills, there obviously needs to be some changes implemented to stop that from occurring, but of course nobody can agree on what that should be.
There are those players like myself that find a hilltop, set down an AT field gun, and start giving supporting fire to friendly troops. However, that is considerably easier to kill than a tank, and should not be penalized in the same way.
Still the best solution here. It benefits teams that have fewer players without removing the win bonus all-together.

No, my dear @dextroverse , players leave matches for a variety of reasons.
Aside from those where Real life takes a priority, many do in fact leave because it is a masochism to endure a match like this:
If the game’s target audience is mature, simulation of war enjoyers, maybe.
But I don’t think that is the target audience.
Most mature folks would instead find a job or otherwise make money than play this.
Thats not true. The point is that you get rewarded for being the best at a task than everyone else in the lobby/team. If you are carrying your team across many different domains, you should be rewarded accordingly. The 1.5x that you get from medals should be increased so long as you get more than 5 medals

Yeah it would probably be best to keep the point value as it is, for vehicle assists.
My only gripe is when a single player does nothing but use vehicles to farm xp, and earns the the highest score…
And in the same match, I won’t use a single vehicle and will focus entirely on team support with my engineers. Where I can score 150+ engineering points in a single match, and also get 100 kills, multiple vehicle kills…
and at the end of the match, we lose.
and the player who sat in vehicles the whole time, is the one who earns the top-player (entirely from the 100+ assists that he got from the “splash damage” he was inflicting from HE spamming).
I just think there needs to be a higher rewards for players who utilize their engineer in an effective way.
Maybe the devs could just boost the general xp gain by 50% and remove the victory bonus altogether.
