Incentive for Japan BR-3-5

Recently, while playing Japan mid-tier with my friend, I noticed Japanese teams in BR 3-5 rarely get over 7 real players. Japan overall is very boring due to the lack of map and weapon diversity. I would recommend adding these things would make Japan be on par with other factions

Battle of Iwo Jima
The United States sent its forces to capture Iwo Jima via beach landing, similar to the D-DAY landings.
It would be fun to play and to gun down Americans. The map should have adequate cover. Also, it would be fun to have detailed cave networks.

Battle of Manila
An urban combat map would be a very nice addition to Japan’s map selection. Aside from the Burma map, we do not have any urban combat settings.

Okinawa
An open map with hills and vegetation whilst lacking trees as seen in many historical photos.

Ground and Vehicle Combat

ADDING NEW WEAPONS
Much like the Soviet faction, experimental weapons plague the upper tiers. We could add interwar weapons and more experimental weapons. Though, I would cast skepticism of experimental weapons.

ADDING GOOD EVENT SQUADS FOR JAPAN
In my personal experience, when I started Enlisted, I got a very good event squad for the Soviets which motivated me to play the Soviets for a long time.

BALANCING
The Allies faction has much better weapons than Japan. The M1919A6, M2 Carbine, T20, Hyde 1944, M26 Pershing, and of course, the Meteor. Buffing Japan’s air vehicles slightly would be helpful whist taking the recent gun nerfs away.

Japan should have better air vehicles. Allies should have better ground vehicles.

If we apply these suggestions to Japan, it would be so much more enjoyable to play.

I play BR3 or BR5 Japan and always has 10 players,but there are some days when it takes a long time to find a match

And if one day we ever have Okinawa, Iwo Jima, Manila and Manchuria I would like the Battle of Attu before Peleliu and Saipan

That’s already not true the Ho-ri is better then both the Pershing and Super Pershing
The problem is Japan has bad weapons
The US has to be balanced against Germany and Japan
I agree adding more maps would help
Add Japan vs USSR would also help USSR

My incentive to play BR5 japan was the type 100 mg.

You can see where that went.

The type hei automatic is definitely better than the t20, if not then forsure on the same level with each other. I feel the hei has a way better shooting experience though.

The ho-ri, again, is just as good as the pershing

The A6 is such a mediocre weapon, literally only used it for several games when i first started playing and have never touched them again since. Can’t remember the last time I’ve been killed by one playing as Japan.

The M2 is okay, not really exceptional either, has a ton of drawbacks.

The meteor has every right to be the better dogfighter amongst jets. Kikka also got huge bombload for enlisted norms. Without the meteor japan has significantly better fighters in br3-5.

The only valid point in what you’ve said is that the u.s. has the hyde and japan doesn’t have an assault rifle.

only on BR II you have the minimum needed vehicles as a faction and they are not good…
