Improving the 2025 halloween event

It is clear that this event is too difficult for many players, especially for those who are playing with randoms. It seems that this event’s difficulty was designed for groups with proper communication and not for a bunch of random people that have to communicate through impractical text chat. I also assume the playtests were done with 4 stacks.

Due to this I propose that the event’s difficulty will be reduced for players without a group. Here are the changes:

  1. Green exploding guys will only appear at wave 10 not wave 7. This will give a bit more time to prepare. The amount of green guys should also be reduced.

  2. The tanky bosses would appear in reduced numbers. Usually these will catch your teammates off guard and leave you alone to face 5+ samurai.

  3. Automatic health regeneration. It is really annoying that you have to spend points every time you take the slightest amount of damage. Automatic regeneration would be slow so you would still need medkits for bigger wounds.

  4. More ammo and cheaper guns. The amount of ammo you get should be increased and prices for weapons such as machineguns need to be reduced. Obviously the experienced playtesters know how to save ammo and aim for heads but when your average enlisted player is incapable of moving to the objective in objective based shooter and build rally points i doubt they can save any bullets.

These changes should hopefully make the event actually possible to win without a sweatstack.

We also need better rewards for event. After winning you will be rewarded with just one silver box which usually just means 5 name change orders or 50% booster. This should be at least increased to 5 boxes per victory. You should also get 1 box every day for completing all the tasks.

You can play fairly far quite comfortably with pistol only, considering its “stacked” gun on shelf, and ammo is relatively cheap.
Only thing id do is change the 1911 on shelf to browning HP or offer more pistol options.

Regardless this is relatively easy event to do. If you just happen to win in lottery and get teammates that are capable to tie theyr own shoelaces.

But its quite a burden to carry the usual “special” forces, that have spent every smg around wave 5, leaving you alone with not so good options against greens and what ever.
Hence, ammobox for example would be quite nice addition.
The event becomes relatively boring for above mentioned reasons when u have to start multiple times all over again due to “average” players.

I vote no, because you are missing stuff: every class should have unique use for example, the engineer should be able to spend some of their points on unique structures to slow down zombies, the samurai should have a base anti-tank weapon and damage reduction from their light armor, the Russian should have access to increased ammo capacity and speed, and the medic, like the Russian, should have increased movement speed, the ability to place a medkit that costs less every 10 or 15 rounds, and revive fallen allies faster
