Improving Gold soldier: a compilation of all good ideas from the community

gold soldiers were at least needed during the first phase of the OBT with the academy (which was a cool feature even if too grindy) buying gold soldiers allowed you to skip soldier training and immediately have lv 4 soldiers with decent stats for all lovers of the min-max

but!

after the transition to the current simplified system for upgrading soldiers (and the rest) the golden soldiers have lost their importance except for pure collecting, over time the community has proposed different solutions to make them interested in buying again, below you will find the compilation of some of the best suggestions:

  • give all of them perfect stats or a special initial perk
  • give them an unique uniform or a medal on their uniform for make them different
  • give them all gun/equipment slot already opened after the purchase
  • give them passive experience boost for use them in battle
  • make them non class restricted and allow them use all kind of equipment (hammer,radio,smg,mg,rifle…) for let the player make full use of them in their squad
  • give gold order soldier passive special ability in base of their class
  • make them come after the purchase with a pre-maxed gun based on their class

I like all of these ideas and would like to add one to the list:

  • Make them count as 2 soldiers rather than one when on the objective.

Gold order soldiers are still much more rare than basic troops. Giving them this ability would only add a small amount of extra efficiency to them, but still enough to make it worthwhile.

The cap dont count soldier on it but player, you are asking to make gold soldier count as 2 player on the cap?..Wy dont simply ask for make 5% more fast the cap for each gold soldier in it

This is excellent, because my golden soldiers are often not as good as ordinary soldiers and can’t even let me choose my favorite skills, so they will never be dragged to the battlefield by me.
