Pretty steep price for a non triple AAA game. So how I personally would fix it is introducing a system where you get one guaranteed Main Weapon, One guaranteed Cosmetic piece & One % based third reward Secondary weapons/Vehicles skins/Gold. That way you are at least guaranteed a main weapon & a cosmetic. With another % chance of getting an extra bonus item with it. Otherwise the box is too expensive for a niche game that is several years old & having to compete with players attention with AAA games.

If they gave you a squad or decent weapon with it I’d be fine with it. But this method of cosmetics punishes people who invest into Premium squads…I don’t want to win something that is already unlocked to buy for cheaper.
Really though that might be a possibility… i see no reason in purchasing more if the majority of stuff i get are just clothes i dont even like… now if all of the cosmetics were in there maybe… but when 75% of them are jap US and soviet clothing that aren’t even different than the tt ones? yeah i’m done.
But there are always new players and you never know who might be a player who has money to waste… so they probably will… but it definitely could be improved.
I have only wasted gold once, and for that gold I did get a tank (which I will never use), a Soviet chic crop duster plane (which I will never use), a couple gay hats and some pants I will never use. So, overall, not worth the 300 gold I spent. I did win gold while playing which I tossed right back into the fleece chest, thus winning those forementioned gay hats.
So, I tossed in 300 of my own gold, won 1500 and an additional 300 or something like that. Totaling around 2,100 gold, give or take and that above is what I had to show for it. It certainly wouldn’t have been worth the cost of 2,100 gold had I paid for all of it. So, IMOP, not worth it, just Gaijin trying to fleece it’s player base.
the only way we could even remotely justify the appearance behind gold chest, if it’s universal across ALL squads while taking it outside said box if you already have the squad or got it already.
Its not considering the high chance for a squad the problem is the countless cosmetics that just look the same as the “TT” versions and on top of that there are always 50 “version” of them in the box
Ive seen the good and bad from those boxes people spending 10k gold and getting some insane squads and others only getting cosmetics. Im glad i got somewhat lucky with them
