Say Wotan4711, (it’s impossible to message you so I’m asking here)

Will you support h&g2, or play it (if it really see light of day)?

I want to see snakes on maps again…

Agreed. I was sure upset to learn that all my many… maaaany soldiers, arms and vehicles (and those golden perks!!!) Were all going in the drain.

I believe they WILL release the game no matter what however. They don’t need 2 millions (yes, they reduced Kickstarter to 2!) That 2 mill will only be a bonus for them, but I’m persuaded the game will be.

They made alliances with many companies and already have all the investors they’d need…

I will play it when it goes out. H&G scratch a niche that no other game does (rts in fps). I really look forward to see snakes again on the map, I am certain we will meet (maybe even team up), I know @CaptainSebekel will as well.

In any case, let’s wait and see. And hope they learned from their past mistakes…

Ok

it’s a new team so it has a change though i might drop $100 on it just to see how bad it is, then get addicted to it

They helped the development of a lot of Cod

i don’t know what the help with but vanguard had some schizophrenic fun to it’s MP while if they did the Zombies in cw then it was 10/10 (though that was likely treyarch)

That they helped with cod is the only thing scaring me tbh. I don’t want another ww2 cod (only the first 2 were legendary), I want H&G2 to be distinct, well, like H&G minus all it’s flaws (I dream).

But yes. They have ties with Activision… they won’t need to look far for investors if need be.

This. Lol, this simple phrase resumed veterans H&G players relationship with the game. I myself used to say I had a “love hate relationship” with it. It was very flawed… but I kept coming back. For ten years… !

It was both so frustrating yet so addictive at the same time…

Half of them are the old plebs. Still dont have a single map designer.

Includeing two weekend days without office work, and a Friday without news releases

True. Looking at the “success” of the Kickstarter and that Hades already lowered the goal after like one day and mentioning that the money would just “ease” the development, there is no way that they rely just on this, otherwise it would be heilarious.

The maps were not even good to begin with. Even Hades admitted how painful B and E-Line assaults on Town Assault were (together with Mountain the two sole maps which are always popping up)

I didn’t, based on current footage they provided.

But,

I ill play it, Atleast once.

Especially @Conscript_Joe

The author made the claim that the devs mostly “bought” models in order to make their promo video look better. This would explain my senses whenever I see the trailers and photos because it looks so cheap even for pre-alpha.

Ahah this is so spot on

Still curious what will happen with hg2 tho. It will happen I’m sure, but will it be good… I’ll wait and see.

Still upset hg1 goes down with my entire personal army and thousands over thousands of hours played…

HnG2 will come for sure because otherwise I dont know why TLM bought the licenses in the first place… or did they believe in HnG1, the engine and the dev team…

Its just the awful PR policy that we see and only decreases the success of HnGII to the point where Hades keeps changing his opinion every day. I mean before this, they needed the money otherwise HNGII will never make it because no assets and lack of (future) player base but now its possible but it would be just easier for them (to buy new weapon packs I guess). Sheech, this lying/ intentional withholding of truth is like crack or sugar for those nasty Dens.

Ahh … the good old H&G days. I jumped into this train in late 2016 and was hoping for the best.

At one time, the game had a real chance to become one of the best free ww2 shooter online. However, when Hades himself admitted that even at that time they did not pay much attention to player feedback, and all that “community RETO reference regiment” etc. nonsense was just one big lie. Even then they didn’t raise enough money anyway.

And the worst thing is that they don’t even want to unlock the full existing game at the moment just for people to have fun.

In my deep conviction, H&G 2 is doomed by this whole propaganda campaign (especially how dilettantishly it was presented)

This might be a good thing for Enlisted, but I’m not sure if players will stay here, but some new players will come anyway
