Imagine trying to climb the rankings, earn experience bonuses, and having a team full of useless bots ruin everything. Imagine having a good connection and the server still crashing. You specifically ask your team to defend the zone, and all they do is stay 100 meters behind it, taking cover. I’m not saying they should replace the bots with players, but they should improve their AI. When ordered to defend a zone, they should actually go and do it. We’re losing three zones in less than five minutes.

What I mean is that it seems more like a bug than an AI problem. It’s as if the bots are still in offensive mode even when the match is in defensive mode. They also don’t mark enemies when you’re using the plane. They don’t build rally points. This means that when you join a zone defense match, you have to pray you get matched with a real player, even just one.
bot are ALWAYS programmed to defend in defensive mode.
If you go onto custom battles, you will realise the bots will always croud objectives.
You are playing with 80% people in regular battles - only a few bots. Bots are always better than average players as they go for objectives even though they drain tickets quickly,
The only time a bot isnt defending is when it has just spawned as is travelling to the objective.
PLUS - to win always be on the objective, dont chase after bombers for exp as its a waste of time.
Im on a 30 or so win streak because all i do is live for objectives
If the bots are always in defensive mode, why is most of the team 50 meters away from the zone instead of right on top of it? I’m always left alone defending the zone and end up dying because it’s 20 vs 1. And what you said about them “always being in defensive mode” also affects me when capturing zones, since instead of capturing the zone they’re hiding like they’re on the defensive.

uh maybe bc they have been killed and going back to the objective OR you cant tell the diiference between real players and bots

Alot of that is players. Not sure why they do not fight. I see the same thing, hanging around 100m+ from point. Some are just sniping. I am trying to find game friends to join up. The times I do get to have a team, things go so much better.
I suppose the bigger problem is mixing new players with veterans.
Deserting is another issue. That messes up everything and causes AI squads to fill the gap.
My guess would be the same. People staying away from objective because they want to be snipy snipers. It’s freaking hard to take an objective when you got up to 5 snipers on your team that doesn’t do much but sitting as far away from objective as possible.

Getting sprayed by a flamethrower seems to be a pretty good incentive to push the objective… or just leaving… which is more beneficial than them being in the game.

Or they just stay in the spawn, stuck and you need to walk for 3 minutes straight to the point while begging to not die
It´s very easy to diference normal players and bots, bots they move as if they have a broken hip and injured legs, they are all together and their aim is horrible (at least the bots I’ve encountered)
