Im gonna stop play this game, keep loosing

I as a general now im a major sergeant becaus I keep loosin almost all the time. I end up most of the time with noob teams that doesnt understand how to play.

  1. They dont build rally points close (50m)
  2. They dont attack/defend the objective. Kepps running around elswhere when the enemy takes the objective…
  3. Players camps alot doesnt help the attack/defence.
  4. Players doesnt understand how to point out enemy for the air support.

It dint use to be like this. I used to play with better teams, no we loose all the time = WASTE OF TIME!!!

You can always return when you are in a better mood. :grinning:

well majority of casual newcomers just want to shoot stuff… I guess additional game mode in which you simply shoot each other would separate those players from objective based game modes.

I would too play TDM with pleasure from time to time.

We need better tutorial too, I have a feeling that some players don’t truly understand what they’re supposed to be doing, sabotaging the whole team in the process.

We need Shipments and Newktown.

I don’t think that’s a bad thing imho. When I started playing Enlisted, I had average WR 40%. But I had a really good time and was enjoying every minute. Because I mostly didn’t care about stuff I do care now.

The more I started to understand the game and how important winning is, and what I have to do to win. The more the game became frustrating and monotonous for me. I wasn’t just playing the game the way I enjoyed it anymore. And I stopped making ineffective funny attempts and experiments.

I started more or less playing the same way over and over again, focused on building rally points, etc. And when my team was objectively inferior, I was getting incredibly frustrated xD

I would give anything to have the mindset I had when I started playing Enlisted.

I guess you’re talking about yourself.

Because, do you wanna know a sekrit?
Everyone end up with noobs that doesn’t understand how to play.

Some solo players (like myself) ends up winning, despite having bad teammates.
The common dominion is always yourself. Remember that.

Regardless:
It can be immensely frustrating.

relatable, i have exactly the same.

I think that TDM would help a lot, first of all, players who just want to shoot have their own backyard, and players who play objective based modes consciously choose this mode to play the way it should be played. From now on (in theory) you wouldn’t be frustrated that your team doesn’t play the objective at all, but only that it does it worse than the opponent. I find it a lot less annoying because you know that at least they are doing their best and doing what they are supposed to do.

Additionally, the separation of the objective game mode and regular casual TDM would be important, maybe the objective based games could be unlocked as you play at some point, the player would be more interested in what is going on between these two modes, there could be some additional information, additional tutorials, etc. this creates good learning curve in which players from different levels of game knowledge don’t interrupt each other.

this again split the playerbase which i guess df can’t take right now. But i wish somewhere in the future they could.

*Lose.
*Losing.

And… as a newbee I consider the teams with only seasoned players (friends) wiping out everything before a decent game has a chance to develop and others fleeing the game if they fear to lose a game are the real problem. The game engine tries to balance teams based on the skills of the players but because a lot of seasoned players only want to win and if not then deflect, the balance is completely lost. So the only thing left to do for newbees is to try and score some points to get better equipment. And there is nothing to it: The Enlisted development team is not hired to optimise the fun, but to optimise profit. That is why there are in game options for buying better equipment. Thats not because of newbees or seasoned players but because of return on investment. As long as your having fun, play the game.

The closest thing we have to TDM is conquest, and that’s really not great

I understand you. For one good game with balanced teams that make the game fun no matter if we win or lose, there are 6 realy bad games, where one of the team has absolutely no clue … the balancing here is strange. I noticed that pattern even in War thunder …you have to play some portion of games with very bad teams and then have some series of good ones, and then again.
Then a new “invention” personal mines … just everywhere … there are some “mine fanatics” in some games and it is just unplayable …
The fact that most of the players dont know what rally point is or what the objective is, would be forgivable if at least some part of team knew (two or three rally points are enough), but sometimes you wont get even that.
Recently the game is more of a frustration than fun … and it wasn’t that way. But I still hope it’ll gets better.
