Is it currently possible to destroy a Pz. II with the Il-2’s 20mm cannons? I’ve strafed quite a few and have gotten hit indicators, but no damage that I could perceive.

well, according to war thunder, you can pen a pzII.
but according to enlisted, you Should pen a pzII ( exept that… spoiler allert, you don’t).
Result, you don’t damage the tank at all. somewhat this panzer II it’s comparable as an early tiger tank…
not clear if the pzII armor values are bugged, or if damage system that it’s wacky.
but i’m sure the devs are working on the pz II.
just a matter of time.

It is possible, but really hard
Afaik you are carrying air target belts, so unlikely.
Besides, IRL they used rockets or bombs to kill tanks, not the 20mm cannons
