Tiger I would be OP even on BR4, but no one is going to use it in BR5, except someone who doesn’t own Tiger II yet.

I don’t see the flamethrowers as being good enough to justify putting a 20rd SMG into tier 4, when the said flamethrowers merely have 18m of range and 100 units of ammo. Quantity is pretty irrelevant.
Either drop the BR of the existing gun to 3, or give it the 40rd mag. Those are the only choices I’ll accept.

The thing is 3 isn’t really low tier while Allies get two para squads at BR 2 locked into low BR and Soviet paras will be able to go where ever you want.

OG-43 is nerfed M1 Beretta which is BR3

Flamethrower (BR 3)
Even a 40 round OG-43 is a BR3 gun!

Even with the 40 round mag I wouldn’t be taking it over either FG-42 paratrooper squad. Being at 4 really makes the Italian paras irrelevant.

It has 7/2 actual recoil.
Even the MAB38, the supposed pinnacle of german 9mm SMG unlocks has 10/3 recoil.
The OG 43 literally has less recoil than the best soviet SMGs- Which are already a cut above everything else, statwise, only going as low as 8/2.
The OG 43 with a bigger mag is going to be very strong.
Beyond a certain point less recoil isn’t really a valuable metric anymore. The M38 has a rof of 690, the OG-43 has 570. The PPSh-41 rof is 1150. None of them really have any recoil to speak of with the relevant perks and upgrades, so the inferior TTK of the OG-43 starts to really become the more relevant comparison.
Okay. It would still pale in comparison to an FG-42, for me at least.

Another alternative, the leaked paratroopers which we aren’t allowed to post pictures of, might be part of the event in which Soviets will get their event paratroopers. It’s likely that the Soviet paratroopers will be able to use any assaulter weapon to be equivalent with their premium paratroopers that were announced. It is possible that the German match in that event will also be able to use any assaulter weapon, which would allow us to drop them down or raise them up to any BR that we wish.
Though that would still be a little disappointing considering the state of BR 1-2 German SMGs compared to the Soviets.
It’s hard to counterplay 100 round fast fire rate fast relaoding weapons dropped on your head without having to even open your box, while the Italian paras rely on their box,and honestly the flamethrower is mid, if you want flamed induced point clearing just use the normal ones, they are so much better at the cost of what? Having to walk to the point instead of dropping from the sky. And the recoil is not too bad tap firing especially with 40% recoil reduction.

No,it will be like the Beretta 40, a decent gun on a person who has a flamethrower dropped on its head at birth. If you are at that tier, flamers with fg 42 2s are better anyways than the og43 with 40 rounds, and walking to where you need to go isn’t that bad

No all flamethrowers are fucking aids in that they remove your ability to return fire, idgaf about their actual killing potential since that’s pretty low regardless
Vickers recoil isn’t bad if your only plan is to bullet hose in CQC
I was incredibly disappointed when trying to setup and mount it as a support weapon 
I just swapped them out for my engineer squad with springfields and forgot about it lol
