So if we have something like this in game maybe this can convince people to actually start working together and start teaming up and setting invites to everyone they play with instead of playing alone
I agree and I’ve tried suggesting something similar before.
Group of 2 players - +20% xp each
Group of 3 players - +35% xp each
Group of 4 players - +50% xp each
In addition to this, give a bonus +25% xp for EACH player less than the enemy team that your team has at the end of the game.
This way, it not only encourages players to work together an use teamwork, but also encourages players and groups to stay in games even when they are outnumbered. Which helps lower the number of cheaters and keeps the games interesting.
Will never work, Team play
As long as you have daily tasks, or events, with tasks.
people will just, try and achieve these goals, instead of team play.
We need proper option for ingame PMs first. Then we can support grouping up.
But I really don’t know whyy groups should get bonus exp. It’s already massive advantage and you can win so much easily uf you are in group. Especially if you’re communicating via discord and such.
Exp bonus for easy victory isn’t enough for you?
Without proper MM for groups, this would make solo experience just more toxic.
It’s not AS big of a deal for the players that play in groups anyways. However, it is a driving incentive for players that normally play solo and only care about their own personal score a reason to try working with other players in a teamwork capacity.
Besides, in my experience, those that ARE in the groups are generally carrying a LOT of solo players. They may as well get a bonus for such.
I am primarily solo player since I hate to speak English and I don’t know many fellow Czechs that are playing this game.
If I do play non-maxed out campaign, in the first place I care about winning. Loosing feels too much like wasted time, since I lost too many expa for no good reason whatsoever.
And If I do play maxed out campaign, I primarily care about having fun. Trying to weird strats, experimenting with equipment I have enevr used before and so on. I do not care about anything else.
I don’t think playing in group would change anything for me.
Its one thing if they are doing like you said and trying out strange strategies or something, but many of them that I have talked to all say generally the same thing:
“I’m just trying to get as many kills as I can personally, so regardless of win or lose, I still get lots of points. If my team happens to win, great. I’m only worried about the base xp.”
So by pushing players to play in a group with the promise of extra xp for doing so, it would also push them to try to win more as they now have a group and the means to do so, PLUS the extra xp bonus will pay out even MORE.
