I assume the chests sold well. It was an infusion of cash and active play. Hopefully they do not think it is an unlimited gravy train that can be exploited by giving everyone less. The last event kind of feels that way. It is 2 free squads but they are not special and both those factions have them in spades. Basically a squad decal will less soldiers.
I did not like the monetization of the chests but did buy a few to support the game. The return was ok enough that I did not feel like I was ripped off. I got two BR1 squads One is kind of cool the other crap.
Should Enlisted pass along some of that good fortune if chests were successful?
Yes, If they made a handsome profit they should appreciate the hand that feeds them.

I have been playing pre merge. I do not see the point of having 8 machine gun squads (6 of anything is enough for max cycle 2 BR set ups). Understand? Any event is a good event UNDERSTAND? If they cheapen the events is the GOOD or BAD? According to you it is good? The legacy squad thing is just Barbie dress up for adult men. If it does not have unique weapons or looks what is the point? Seriously? No event or premium marker so it would be useful. That is a degrade from the regular process UNDERSTAND? Now fill the holes with Japan and Russia then I would say its progress. I am just pointing out if the chests were successful, hopefully it does not mean cheapening the event UNDERSTAND?
Case closed. This event isn’t for you… if you don’t like the events don’t do them… i don’t plan on doing the next one because the main reward will serve no use to me.
Some are good some aren’t… you’ll just have to deal with these events as they are for those who don’t have all pre merge squads.
Yes, I am fine with the 100 squads I have. Not sure what I would get since I have these “legacy” squads. The only reason for more squads is making more BR’s but that itself is an expensive endeavor. 150k-300k silver for a complete squad. 2 BRs per faction is good, I have 3 on Germany and US. But do I need 5? No its 10k-15k per soldier. 3 of any squad is the max usage you will get per match. Most of those squads you do not run 3. Only assaulters are usually run at 3 per unless its Japan then its 3 Machine guns. I think you are missing what I am saying. I think it is awesome anytime we get something or an event. That is game theory it is a win anytime period. But… Players heavily invested in the game. If that campaign was success I hope “Enlisted” shares the good fortune by being more generous. Sadly anytime something like this make money it degrades into more schemes.
there are 5 BR and lots of people have 10 slots. also people want RP setups(aka non meta) and nation squads.
personally i dont care about squads, but i would for devs to include weapon loadouts so same squads can be equipped with different weapons with 1 click. i find it stupid to need 50 squads so you can play every BR without having to manually equip every soldier in every squad with appropriate weapon for BR you want to play.
Alright, then you don’t need these extra ones in which case no more time spent on events.
Alright since you are pre merge player you should have an excess of silver unless you dumped it all on the box
It isn’t cheapening the events at all… it’s catering towards people who want a certain thing… these squads ar every valuable for those who aren’t pre merge or who care about the intended purpose… furthermore these despite the fav that i dislike it can be used for new japanese squads which could very well use them.
Just like how you may want X from an event but get Y… sure this isn’t very “unique” but it’s how you choose to look at it… no different than an event you disliked the main reward of.
Um… no… it allows for greatly improved squad lineups for example there is two sniper squads and now they could run 3 for a cycle… or only one mortar and now they get more (terrible examples) and like you said convenience for multiple BR loadouts.
And so what? this is one momentarily squad j can run even though we already have one… and just because you frame it like barbie dress up that doesn’t mean that’s not what some people want.
This doesn’t follow the theme of all the other event squads… you can switch out the weapons and soldiers… the only point you have with that is that it’s awarded through an event… well i’d direct my anger at the devs for inlcuding legacy squads like that.

And i don’t understand those who are complaining about it not having event designation… boo hoo you can’t have an infantry squad at the bottom of your lineup… only a problem for those who don’t support the game with squad slots… furthermore like is always mentioned these are just alternative legacy squads… do you have valid frustration about them being included in events though? maybe

I think they are being more than generous… they are finally bringing back legacy squads and alternatives for them… news flash… isn’t directed towards you… everything isn’t going to be exactly what you want or like all the time… i personally really like this… and heavily dislike the upcoming event… i will not play it but will complain about it instead… so i guess you are entitled to that as well.
Why do you assume I do not like the event? As I said 3-4 times now anytime you get something its a good thing. I just did not see the “awesome” in legacy squads. Honestly I never paid attention or bothered until someone pointed out I have a ton of them. My point is, if they gold box event was a success pass along the good fortune. That is a simple ask not a request or demand. At a certain point you can only collect so much stuff have so many max squads with 3 stars. Pretty sure I understand how squads work I only run max squads every faction. When I say max I mean max level 3 star each and every guy armed to the teeth with upgraded weapons. Silver chests about 750k But I also spent 700k making 3 complete squads including the 7 man US bomber. That is the max in game asset.
