So as the title says I’m a Normandy Allly main and was trying the Berlin axis campaign and holy shit does it suck for the Germans the skill gap is ridiculous I’m a lvl 17 and lost probably half the time which just isn’t fun constantly first place or so you are literally fighting the red tide which I get happend in real life but it needs something to be more balanced plus the axis players are pretty brain dead any ideas or suggestions to help fix this would be great to see I am now on to trying the axis for Normandy to see how different it is

Yeah, the problem is that while the axis tree has all the necessary tools to counter the soviets, they’re basically all unlocked way too late, which not only hinders the performance of new players, but also makes them turn away, thus worsening the problem.

most of soviet player are in berlin now, german instead migrate to moscow, stalingrad and normandy (again) for the kiraly 39m and tiger E

Tiger in normandy, mp 43 in berlin and mkb in stalingrad.
Seems unlikely people would rather want to grind out moscow axis right now. The smg isnt that exciting

For f2p yes is the full access smg of stalingrad and is better than of the mkb, alot better
even for f2p i still think people are way more interested in normandy and berlin at the moment

Moscow used to be Axis heaven, however since the MG nerf and the addition of PPSH and T50 most Axis mains try to avoid that campaign.

Honestly a player issue like you said, not an equipment issue.
not me. Moscow my favorite. German equipment is more than adequate. HEAT AT rifle destroys T50 from a long way away.
Over dependency on SMGS and MGS has reduced player population ability. Rifles/Semi Autos all you need.
even finally decided to do Berlin this month. Mostly Top kills and objectives with rifles for a 68% win rate as germany against the DP/PPSH spam. Now that I finally unlocked the FG 42 even better, but wasnt needed.
Losing half of the time sounds quite balanced though, doesn’t it? The Axis struggled on release, but I think things have balanced out now. They get ridiculously good weapons at the higher levels, like the FG42 II, Mg34 with Patronelle, and now the MP43/1 too.
I would say yes if it wasn’t a one-sided massacre and I didn’t most of the time in Normandy I dunno
