Idea for a separate relative HA mode

Have a separate mode and name it “immersive squads” and then have the features of the mode as follows

  • a combination of 2 match maps within a campaign into a single match to make a larger sized map

-weapons are locked to a certain time period of the battle.

-team requirements are at 5 players or more

-and this mode to go off of time periods instead of BR and tiers

-example: Early war soviets- Bolt actions- all except for m44

Sub machine guns/assault rifles- PPD’s, ppSh 41, fedorov

Lmg’s- DP-27, DT-29 and madsen

Battle rifles- Svt38,svt40,avs-36

Early Soviet battles: Moscow and Stalingrad

Early German weapons: bolt action rifles- all except for kriegsmodel and vg-2

Sub machine guns/assault rifles- mp38,mp40,both beretta m38 20 round and 40 round, mp35/1, kiraly(eastern front), hopefully the Suomi kp31 with drum being a base weapon(eastern front), and the mkb 42(eastern front)

Lmg’s- mg34 ,mg13 and Breda

Battle rifles- gewehr 41 and zh29

Early German battles: Moscow and Stalingrad for the Russians and Tunisia so far for the western front.

And if there’s anyone who doesn’t like the idea then just make a normal merged mode for those who don’t want to play this game mode. And no for immersive mode I don’t intend to make it a hardcore mode.

Edit: you can also use the weapons you unlock from the separate but main tech tree from the merged mode and transfer those over to the immersive mode.

I know it’s on my own post but I’d like to see us enlisted players who like the relative historical organization to get our own place when the merge comes out.

  1. It would still be a shit show because ppl would just spam the strongest equipment. The easiest solution to this are premade squads.
  2. Theoretically it’s possible to achieve in custom mods so I doubt devs will bother to imolement it themselves.

Custom mods it would be a problem since console players like myself don’t like playing against PC players. But how would you go with the premades?

Lone fighters 2, straight to customs

But I wanted something with squads, not lone fighters

I meant it will end like lone fighters, it was separate mode before, but because it split playerbase and was not popular it’s now in customs only

Ok I see what you mean now. But at the same time if ther merge is only going to please one side of the enlisted community then the entire game will go to hell in a hand basket essentially.

Most people prefered balanced BR instead of HA. Historical accuracy means fedorov farming bolt-action noobs.

New player joins game - gets slaughtered by historically acurate SMG spam, leaves.

BR at least hopes to bring more players to game and keep them, low BR’s have no rocket spam, no late war tanks, no stg-44 to kill new guys so fast they don’t stand a chance.

I know there is sizable portion of community that prefers historical accuracy, but that’s not majority of players, and think about this - if BR succeds in bringing new players, we would get bigger playerbase (wow cpt. obvious)

If they grow playerbase first, and they should, we could have this conversation again in a year where it would be possible to add more queue’s to help balance, or even add separate HA mode.

If they go for historical accuracy NOW, majority of players won’t be happy, majority new players won’t stay in game, and only conversation we will have in a year is why this game died. (half campaigns are already half-dead bot farms)

Play custom battle.

That’s a repetitive excuse but not a good one since almost no one wants a get a match up going if there’s not much people mostly playing customs.

And most people dont want to see a Tiger in Moscow because 1942.

I wouldn’t mind gaijin adding it into Tunisia but not Moscow. Matter fact they should’ve added the Suomi kp31 instead of the mkb for the assaulter 4’s.

But if Mkb is fine why not Tiger?

I never said mkb was fine. I just said that gaijin was better off putting the Suomi in instead of the mkb.

Ok then

Theoretically the early Tiger could be in Stalingrad because it first saw service during the overall operation

And the Mkb saw service before Stalingrad so it’s also plausible

One thing is for sure both weren’t even close to Moscow

Let’s face it though, even if there was premade squads, anything can still be spammed and there’s no way to stop spammers of any weapon from doing their thing. Especially if the merge comes out, and my god it’s green light on everything by then if it ever gets released, especially tier 4 and 5 weapons. Not just guns but you can also spam grenades, flamethrowers, any weapon that exists can be spammed.
