As the end of WW2 drew nearer and Germany searched for cheap weapons to desperately to use to defend the remnants of its land, the quality of manufacture drastically decreased in favor of pure quantity. This suggestion would be a Volkssturm squad armed with 2 such weapons which would fit pretty well on BR; A bolt action carbine, and a pistol flamethrower. As for the setup of the squad type, I think either a partisan or engineer squad structure would work well for what the weapons are.

In December of 1944, a contract was given out for a cheap bolt-action rifle that was to be chambered in 8mm Kurz feeding from StG 44 magazines was issued, and Rheinmetall had submitted their design and had won the contract, and was to produce them along with the VG-1 (basically a VG-2 with full wooden furniture), but it had never entered mass production. As this gun can use magazines from the StG 44, I suggest it uses the 10 round short magazine we recently saw got introduced with the Market Garden event’s short magazine MKB 42, however it is incorrectly depicted as holding 15 rounds in that gun. I think the bolt speed should be a bit faster than average to make up for it losing the ability to OHK like full caliber rifles, sort of like the De Lisle but a bit slower.
Einstossflammenwherfer
A cheap and easy to produce small flamethrower with a quite small amount of fuel designed for the Fallschirmjäger and Werwolf movement, but found common use in the Volkssturm due to it’s ease of use and simplicity. This would be equipped in the pistol slot of the soldiers in the squad, and would share most of the stats of the Lanciafiamme Mod. 41 d’assalto such as range and damage since they would be pretty similar (which it was actually based off of), but it should have a small amount of fuel, probably 25 units or something around there, but also not have the movement speed penalty the other flamethrowers have since it’s much lighter than the ones in game.
