So with the new premium packs for Normandy we get Germans using a European made BAR varient, neet .
But for the Americans a widely used an iconic weapon the 1918 BAR just got locked behind a 20$ pay wall for something that’s supposed to be a fairly common weapon for American forces
this is a ww1 variant and saw limited use in ww2

3 different variants of BAR were used in ww2 by the US
It is true. The early model wasn’t used for very long and was quickly replaced by the A1/A2. By 1944 I’m sure no one had the original BAR on the beaches
It was used by some troops so making it premium is a great thing
I mean the units in Normandy. Still in use? sure. used by rangers and airborne? No. they would have the most modern equipment which is why as a premium its fine.
The squad that has them is a regular infantry platoon
Which wouldnt be accurate but who cares its a premium. the 1918A1 came out in 38. By 44 it was gone from front line units
