IAR-81C kill gives me no score - twice

I go heads-on with an IAR-81C.
I got several hits on him, white and red hit markers.
He passes me, immediately jumps out and dies with his plane.
Normally I get credited for this kill, giving me 350 score for the plane + 30 score for the pilot.
But not yesterday…

I encounter another IAR-81C.
Get some hits on him as he tries to attack the point.
I’m shooting, hit him, he explodes but I get no score.
Checking my recording of the battle, I saw that a friendly AA killed the IAR-81C.
But as I had hit him several times before, I should have received an assist score of 30.
But not yesterday…

i have noticed you can’t score hits on a would be dead plane as they tumble into the ground crediting you with the kill… what the hell are they doing to the game.

let me guess? “because then they can spawn another!1!1!1!”

tell that to the people who shoot my plane with small arms… guarantee me another cycle… always love when people do that lol.
