I look at all of them and there is just no incentive to buy any for many players that have late campaign equipment or have already finished a campaign. It just looks like a waste of money. Seems only thing worth doing is buying gold to deck out your squads with custom items.

Premium squads should be the same size as regular equivalent squads, but with only a fixed number of premium weapons.
Allow players to customize how the premium squad is composed.
For example, if I buy a 4-man assaulter/gunner squad, I get 4 premium weapons, and the ability to choose the composition of the rest of the squad slots (Like 2 extra engineers + at gunners, like in a regular gunner squad). The weapons and soldiers of the additional troops will be supplied by the player.

Premium squad should be less expensive than 1g of gold.
Premium squads should give you no advantage but should have unique uniforms, weapons and equipment. It should also be possibil a limited customization the how the squad is composed, for example assaulter, engineer, MG.
For the unique equipment maybe a bundle of nades instead of the explosives for the german squads.
My most liked premium units are the Fallschirmjäger in Normandy and in Tunesia.
Premium squad give you advantage wen they get released the first time, because they come with better gear than f2p unlock, the next update those squad become outdated because f2p get shiny toys or new premium squad are released with better gun

I think both sides are as happy as ever without eachother’s “support” lmao.
I don’t want premiums OP. Far from it. I just want them to stay relevant, because as of now. Once you start getting into the later stages of your campaign they are completely useless and start to collect dust. Some hold their weight, like PPK and MP 41 in Moscow but that’s the exception to the norm.
We need events that tie in premium squads with some nice rewards that incentivize playing them.

When premium squads where relevant, f2p players screamed that they where OP. Additional slots where OP, cosmetics where OP, double XP was OP and etc. whatever you can get with money is basically OP.

There’s some cool looking ones like the new 5 man setup squads they’ve settled on, but they’re just so damn expensive that I don’t even want to think of how much they lose out on in sales with only whales buying them here and there.
