Do the devs actually take this game seriously? I mean, all I see is a game that’s been in beta for 6 years, lacks content, and to top it off, its developers decided to make another game that came and went without making any real waves (I’m not saying it failed, but its numbers aren’t anything out of the ordinary compared to Enlisted, especially when nowadays almost anything can break the internet).
If it’s due to a lack of revenue or a financial crisis, they should just communicate it. There are games that have been saved thanks to community support, but it makes no sense for them to stay silent when the game is virtually the exact same as when it released, just with better graphics (it feels like the graphics department is the only group actually working at Darkflow…).
And what pisses me off the most are the fake updates, when they claim they fixed something and clearly didn’t fix shit… From what I can see, it seems like they want this game to die without being directly blamed for it (basically, they don’t shut it down because they want to avoid the backlash, and even more so because they know people would take out that retaliation on the company’s other game).
According to you, veterinarians should make animals, mechanics should make cars, pilots should make planes, and alcoholics should make drinks… Seriously, I’ve seen dumb and stupid people in my life, but your comment actually surprised me.
And a big reminder that the initial developers of the game, Darkflow, doesnt exist as a studio anymore and this game was mostly a asset flip from CRSED and War Thunder.
So apparently they cant even tell us how to do it right.
This game is owned by Gajin, the biggest AA cash cow on the market. If they can afford to make people pay 1000 dollars for a IS tank, they can afford to finance the game, especially since the game is already under direct control of Gajin anyways now.
Plus the game asks you 40 shekels for shitty jepps, have some pride, dont be a Proud Supporter.
Almost all of them are just updates to the Drago engine/ War Thunder, no big compliments here.
Enlisted is no high priority, not to mention that the first concept with the campaigns failed and now is stuck with the BR concept that IMO is still unfinished. Most developers were relocated to Active Matter (just see how much Ronald MacDonalds posts on the game’s subreddit and steam page) or have dual responsibilities and some speculate that BP weapons are done by freelancers.
Just enough to keep the game alive, but not enough to really make it grow. I don’t think this game is that expensive to be maintained, maybe 10 developers or so plus cloud servers (helped by the fact that most of them are most likely Eastern Europeans).
It wasnt so much of a “dev” but rather a publisher/ developer decision to expand to another segment.
The worst part is that people actually go and buy it; I didn’t think it was even possible until I started seeing people on Twitch literally buying 13,000 gold just to spend it on CLOTHES. That was the moment I just gave up.
This game started off really well. I actually got into Enlisted because of Berlin. When I loaded up the map for the first time, it was amazing to see what the devs had done. They recreated every single detail, the buildings, everything. The core game itself is great, uniforms, weapons, maps. But they dropped the ball big time when it came to game balance. An unbalanced game pushes players away fast. So what we end up with is a game that cant retain players, leading to a high player turnover.
As the player base started dropping, they allowed more vehicle use, which helped hold onto active players for a bit. But that just brought over all those frustrated kids from war thunder. Years have passed, and weve gotten new maps and new weapons, all really well done. But its still a game made for a small player base with 90% of matches being completely unbalanced. In the end, enlisted just gets monotonous and repetitive, with the vast majority of players preferring to use vehicles instead of soldiers.
Nowadays, my youngest son plays Enlisted. Ive moved on to playing that-other-game-we-shall-not-name. Enlisted has huge potential, but its just really poorly handled.
And once again you’re proving how braindead you are… Why even bring that up? This isn’t LoL, nor Counter-Strike, ELO doesn’t matter. xD You’re defending a game that has fewer players than Wallpaper Engine…
In a game where being braindead seems to be a requirement—and they prove it even on the forum—a game so unbalanced and absurd… Sorry for not being a masochist like you and playing every single game…
By the way… You’re below me in ELO with way more matches played, you’re a trash dogshit noob and you still bring ELO into the conversation. HahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Because the game isn’t the problem, it’s the people playing it, and not everyone is braindead—some matches are actually fun. But it’s true that 60% of them are unbearable and the other 40% are unwinnable. Either way, I don’t play as much as I used to, but I like complaining and I like messing with idiots like gators even more. xD
