Probably the 1 good thing about the merge - and that is a good thing,
What is not a good thing is I-153’sa over Berlin, T26’s in Burma and myriad other abominations …although TBF Tigers and Stuarts did actually co-exist in France 1944.
As we now know the merge turned out to be a 1-dimensional kludge that introduced at least 3 dimensions of screwup.
