I unlocked the M1 Thompson squad, now what’s the difference between that and
my assaulter squad I have that is already leveled up?
Can I just give the m1 Thompson to my already leveled up assault squad?
Is the new Thompson squad better than the first assaulter squad I got?

The only difference I can see is that the new assault squad will have the Thompson workshop upgrade that I want to level up to make my T. better.

I assume you are mentioning Tunisian allies.
Assaulter I and Assaulter II squads have no difference in squad upgrade(the blue section). Assaulter IIs can go to assaulter I squad and vice versa. Same for weapons.
However, like you mentioned, leveling up your second assaulter squad will enable you to upgrade m1 thompson and m21/28 thompson.

yeah I meant I have to level up the new assaulter squad to be able to level up the m1 later on.
A bit of a huge grind, since this squad xp goes really slow but maybe in the long run it’s worth it.
Not many good assault guns in the Ally Tunisia side. :frowning:

The arsenal is extremely huge!
Allies Tunisia have the best toys and wide range of guns in all campaigns.

Maybe not THE best… but close. All versions of Thompsons are really fantastic… the lanchester is fantastic… The Bar is Godly (and best gun name ever) that’s for assault weaponry only. Perhaps only Normandy allies with 1919 or Soviets have it better, but Tunisia allies are very close.

Poor Italians. Still, I love playing underdogs :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
