I think there should be an editor for solider clothes

I think that being able to change your soliders equipment like helmets and caps and uniform with some sort of an “editor” would benefit the game greatly.
“why?” you ask? well… being able to modify your soliders would make them feel mor personall and therefore there would be a bigger insentive to using the “Academy” feature because people wouldnt want to part with their fav solider that they spent so much time with. Currently i find that part of the game lacking because i just straight up switch soliders as soon as new ones appear and care little to none about retaining some of the older “veterans”.
PS. Some of the mixes of clothes also make some germans look like homeless people and being able to change it(i mean solider clothes in general not only germans) to either bigger or smaller extent would be great!

Yeah, It’ll also be cool if they stopped making the red army look “spotless” so to speak. I find U.S uniforms to be modeled really great but lets face it the red army looks too well equiped (i mean its battle of moscov after all) and all germans look like they’re covered in dirt and like they’re wearing not matching equipment. I always play USA or Russia in these types of games and wanted to try some German action but i feel like an army of hobos insted of “the might of wermaht”.

PS. Either make all of them look perfect or the opposite is what i’m trying to say.

I assume that this is one of the things still “in development”, unique features and uniforms of various units.

devs addressed this matter in a live:

here is a summery of that live:

but in short answer:

hope this can help, cheers.

Great to hear! Thanks for the info, can’t wait!

I would like to se how would you look after half a year of fighting in dirt, hordes of soviet soldiers and withnout any proper winter clothes.

Btw. Soviets look better because they were fresh reinforcement’s from Siberia, and those divisions were well equiped.

Already confirmed to be in the works according to the dev stream. Ya’ll need to pay closer attention please.

Assuming you’re right about those reinforcements from Siberia. What procentage of forces were those reinforcements from Siberia? And yet well equipped shiny and spanking new regiments(only 5 out of 18 look somewhat like battle tested conscripts) are majority of Russian forces in the game. My complaint I guess could be that anybody can argue that : “German forces are reinforcements straight from Berlin and therefore are well equipped”. Why would they choose to portray red army forces being better equipped than germans while both forces were really battle tested is not really understandalbe for me. As i said in my opinion you either make both forces look somewhat new or go for “realism” on both sides.

I didnt really follow this games development and thought it would be a nice addition hence post in “Suggestion”. But you’re right. I could have looked it up before i posted.
