You get two pieces but the soldier has 3 cosmetic slots. Right there you have 1 guy who is 66% dressed, Squad size is 5-9 with a 7 average 10 boxes, 7 guy. 30$ US if you get every matching piece. That is easy to understanding now times it by the number of each variant in the reward system. 4 factions x 3 pieces x 7 x X Value of piece A, B, C, That shit would run you 100’s of dollars to kit out a precise squad cosmetic. All this is just quick math so my numbers and formula are not set in stone. That is just one piece, he got 300g=, 500g+, 100g-200 back. (Wow these fucking savages put gloves in the boxes!). Long math story short buying boxes we be better spent betting on poly markets based upon your own opinion and beliefs. Did I mention >GLOVES< So these GLOVES are they magic? Did they have German specific gloves? Is that German black, or Russian black or Allie black gloves asking for a friend!
Yes, if you want a specific squad, it’s extremely expensive that way. But we don’t plan to abandon the Temporarily available type sales for “fixed” removed premium squads, just it takes time to rotate them back, like we have 75+ removed squads and we can only ask for a few at a time. Tho in case of event squads, the only way is still gambling … just either with in-game or premium currency.

Oh I know it is now the current system and it’s meant to stay, wetter we like it or not…
But one question, that was asked numerous times but was never provided with any answer:
- Why was the very loved Gold order shop feature removed, even with the overwhelming response against it’s removal?

I don’t know the exact reason or issues why it happened, nor would i be able to really talk about it openly … but we forwarded a lot of feedback about it … like that players would like to keep the option to pick what they would get from the BP f.e. (the reason why the gold order shop existed in the first place, since not everything was obtainable by finishing the BP) … Later this led to the change of the BP format, where now players no longer need to “buy the remaining rewards” or “choose which ones they want”, instead everything is “in” the BP.
But in general, i guess was related to either having too many premium items in one tab with pricetags (it could be dissuading for ppl to see 1000$+ of items in the shop the moment they start to play) or becasue in our case, the merge changed a lots of things (both in terms of how things work and the availablility of items, like the things that were in multiple campaigns).
I mean in most cases, when players see a “cashshop” with a lots of items, they don’t think about that it’s multiple years worth of additions … they simply start to add up the numbers and realize how much premium items are in the game. So most games rotate their shops because of this, which solves this issue, but creates another one related to FOMO … unless they assure the players that the items will be back on rotation … f.e. Guild Wars 2 does this too and Helldivers 2 done this originaly. Tho recently some companies relaized that it’s not really that bad to give players options and some removed the rotation altogether, like Helldivers 2.

Good answer, You usually do not see that kind of explanation. I was fortunate enough to start playing when the Condor was still in the Gold Shop. The real advantage to the gold shop was the ability to get maxxed out higher tier planes and tanks without having to open them up. It was CLUTCH for Japan. There is not greater misery than playing Japan 1-4. The problem with boxes that you are giving away gloves and pants. Those two things have very little is no cosmetic value especially gloves. As far as people acuminating a lot of things over the year that statline favors the company who has investors. Active time playing is an economic indicator, that person spending money is another. The more they play the game, the higher the chance they will spend more money. I have premium and battle pass. I got 5 gold chests 3 of them squads. 2 were BR1 but from what I understand the Moroccan ones I got are actually a decent pull. The end result is business does this to zap player resources. It is not pay to play it is pay to augment. Pay to play lite. Perfectly fine. Battle pass is well worth it, so is premium. Those should be the two things everyone should own to support the game. Live action have a shelf life, this kind of started really bad, then calmed down. But it still sucks to have choice taken out and replaced with random (%ROI) pay to play schemes. We live in such a glorious age you can see a game rise and decline in real time.

I did the same. Unity of Command 2 and Radio General for less than the cost of 3 gold chests (aka six pairs of pants, probably.)

Hey now, you could get some gloves! The black ones are really rare I think! I was like hmmm Steam sale, Gold chests. 6$ for 3 good games. Rain world is a really good game. I would like some premium squads bu then like you said, pants! I got 2 sets of clothing and they were or course pants :(. But I also got 2 squads. The were low BR but the Moroccan’s are kind of cool looking. So no issues. Cosmetics are not a useful reward when everyone has literal 1000’s of tickets. The squads are unique looking not a singular piece of clothing that anyone can wear. German camo was the absolute best camo in the war. You do not need to spend money on gold chests to buy it. Nor is there anything annoying about spending 12 tickets to look amazing versus 2 gold chests since you only get 2 RANDOM pieces. That is my problem with clothing that is 100’s of dollars to get a unique look and I am sure they know that. At that price point those people can go buy some Barbies off Ebay its cheaper.

I don’t have every squad, however, in four and a half years of playing Enlisted I have probably spent a couple grand on squads, BP weapons ect. Fortunately, a lot of the BP weapons and squads I have were bought when they were on sale.
Everything is wildly overpriced unless on sale. I will probably never buy a squad, but i will definitely never buy a squad at full price. I’ve still spent as much as a full game costs in bp and premium and squad slots, despite never spending 1 cent in any other freemium game. I think they would make more money if they lowered the price of basically everything, because they would sell so much more. If squads were around 10-12 bucks i would probably buy 3-4 per year, instead of 0 ever, and I’m definitely not the only one.
Premium time and squad slots on sale are worth it, though. I would even argue that premium time is worth it at full price, except that i know it will go on sale more than once a year, so the best deal is always just to buy 1 year when it’s on sale.

Well, I had 700 gold sitting in my account and I thought WTF, lets see if I can win more then useless clothing, which for the most part is what I won the only other two times I spent my own gold. I did win a tank and the Soviet Chic crop duster plane the first time (neither of which I will ever use), however that was with the 1,800 gold I won and just let it ride. So, here is my winnings for my 598 gold.
Completely expected, more useless clothing…classic…Utterly useless, but classic. 
I rarely play with the Japanese as well. 
Fleecing at it’s finest. 
So, the amount of clothing I won in my three pulls certainly doesn’t inspire me to toss more money at it.

2 boxes before they are gone. I also got that winter sniper rifle. Saved me 3 dollars on that third pull I got a squad that is great return.

That squad I have and it’s good if you like the M1941 Johnson, which I do. 
nobody is gonna question the random community manager only answering on these gold chest threads and tries to justify them, but dead silent on bugs, QOL or even mods editor features? 
… it’s quite telling actually.
