so after a few games with a platoon on normandy, haha i know normangay, but i quickly remembered why i’ve stopped because of german CAS it was bad before the bug was fixed and now it’s even worse…

Dont worry, i hear german guns are underpowered, theres usually like 3 or 4 threads complaining how germany suffers in this game too just like War Thunder. Germany is supposed to wreck the universe dont you know? Despite many writings desputing the reputation people are saying the german vehicles had? Yeah.
No negative experiences so far. Bugs ain’t game breaking for me, I m having fun, if I die I spawn again and thats it.
Maybe I come from a diferent gaming generation…
Maybe you just play a different game… than the more competitive part of the community, so to say.
I enjoyed being smacked by impossible bots in Quake 1, it was fun, because you always knew you can actually beat them if you play smart and react fast enough.
In this game, there are plenty of things that you just can’t beat or outsmart, e.g. artillery spam on point you have to capture, or planes wiping in one click all squads that actually made to that point after pressing SHIFT and W for 3+ minutes.
So you either give up and pretend you enjoy it, win or lose, like you did. Or you try to raise the point and complain on forums, like I do.
Just need to lower your expectations on every spawn. Treat it as if you can get spawned camped everytime, so it doesn’t matter if your squad dies immediately or you are going to get to the point. Works wonders for me. Otherwise, after you get some lucky play and top the board while not dying or dying just few times, your expectations become too high. I had pikachu face quite a few times when my tank is blown up right after arriving to “perfect” spot. Or I setup and MG position and then random bomb lands on my face. Those things just happen.
I come from a background of only competitive games besides heroes and generals, getting my nerves off on cod 1 and 2 xfire tournaments, black squad esl oficial matches and cs 1.6 Lan events and cs go esl matches… Won some prices, first places and such… Got too exhausted over training again and again, games did become more like a job than a fun experience. back then And so on. I m too old for competitive game reason why I enjoy more casual shooters with good enough point to shoot mechanics as enlisted have.
I also, the reason I stated what I did on my first post, come from a time that we didn’t bother on some crazy mechanics or overpowered items ingames, we just had fun in casual games, and when we died, we seek revenge in-game, I must be better than him, not crying on foruns over something we don’t enjoy in a game that was granted for free.
Understand that proper feedback it’s better for the game overall it, as we notice, devs implement our ideas. Not like original poster with such Normangay ideas… That’s retardation if I say so…
sorry if that came off as a bit rude though i meant that in a sarcastic way since i do enjoy normandy more than moscow but there is some things that do peeves me off like german CAS especially now that they can spawn in 2 aircraft at the same time
Isn’t this like the whole point of the forums?.. To provide feedback and brainstorm ideas in hope that devs make the game more enjoyable for the wider audience…
Not all feedback is proper feedback.
It may be consider with the right point of view, but there are proper ways to express a negative point in something without bashing down or forcing others to agree on an idea that could be only personal. Not everyone have problems or find issues on such pointless stuff
Let’s take the case of mortar spam most people beg a change. Yes its present, yes its kinda an issue on same maps or modes
Do I see it every map or at a constant rate? Hell no. Maybe 1 every 20 games… And even then if I die for a mortar (which is a even rare occasion) I would just spawn again and move on…
Just because some people don’t like mortars, or have the idea that must be changed at all costs, doesn’t mean the wide public or more users share the same points.
We will always see the negative side of things, people stating that like or enjoy an aspect it’s a rare thing to see. People just complain to a stupid degree to fulfill the perfect idea they project themselfs to the game, only for them.
One particular case, I would like to have more soldiers on my premium squads, but they ill be forever limited just because they were badly implemented to begin with
Let’s imagine they change them again? Will the people that demand nerfs to something they don’t even own accept it?
I bet you see 2 planes every single game non stop…

They addressed art spam (sort of…) with the last patch, so hopefully the next patch will focus on addressing bomber spam balance.
