I really like hardcore, I know that players like me are a minority, I know that hardcore has its drawbacks, I know you hate it etc. but I just want to check if there are players like me who join custom games, filter some hardcore server and there’s nothing there… and they just go off to play normal battles.
I thought that maybe after 100 battles there would be a box next to “battle” to check with the word “hardcore”, which would allow veterans to queue up for hardcore games. This queue would completely bypass the current br system to increase matchmaking efficiency, especially since veteran players are likely to be very good with any type of weapon, let alone the fact that the meta is a bit different in hardcore mode. The queue could work also in such a way that if there are not enough waiting players for hardcore, the game would send the player to a regular match to further increase efficiency.
So in theory it shouldn’t harm matchmaking much while adding another option to play.
They got a lot more on their plate right now than this. It’s not a meh suggestion like that ranked, though I’ll say that. Hell, all I want as of now is Pershing’s. Which, for some reason still isn’t here.
I suggest you do. I wasn’t bashing you, like I honestly would do to a lot of whine or even some random post like this.
Though as I have no idea of their development flow or etc. (Reto had a board of things they were working on, and I believe percentage of completion too). Who knows when they will get around to this. It’s not a bad suggestion.
i know hardcore mode is more suitable for lonefighters, you’re right, so alternatively the suggestion might be that the mode would get rid of all the indicators and general feedback from players actions, but keep all the important HUD elements. That would be cool too.
I like more soft hardcore mode, like warthunder realistic you still have the hud but the tank and plane behave more realistically, pure hardcore mode should be just costum game labelled as simulator
