yeah its not the best weapon but its usefull for mid-long distance engagments, and the damage drop off its not that bad either.

It seems the balance of berlin would be better if vg1-5 was in place of fg42 and fg42 was in place of fg42-2.
But instead Fedorov became somewhat weaker and mp43 stronger and we didn’t see paper as-44s in the main branch
p.s. Give the fg42-2 to the sniper instead of the stg44 (and improve accuracy since it will be a highly specialized weapon).
and put stg44 instead of mp43

VG1-5 is best gun second to m1 carbine, works well for larping and with a shotgun secondary

Both are bad ideas, considering STG44 sniper is better than FG422 sniper because of ammo(a very important thing!!!), and STG44 is a crap

In another thread, a Russian-speaking guy thinks that the Axis should have stg better than it has now, and that fedorov should be weakened on the contrary.
If those changes are applied, I’m sure everything will be fine. You won’t need sniper squads with AR, you will have a great Stg with 10.2 damage, 0.31 accuracy and 580-630 rounds per minute
As a player who played 500+ matches in both sides, I think what germans really need is a Suomi Kp31, and yes, VG 1-5 should be a trooper weapon. And replace MP3008 with MP38, revert the german plane load nerf!!! T-3485 is a very big problem that many hate playing Axis in berlin
I am an advocate of asymmetry. If everyone has everything, there will be no motivation to change sides.
If the USSR gets the As-44 outside of the premium squad, why play for the Axis?
If giving the Axis a copy of PPSh while the Axis may have the best AR in the game, why?
The only thing I can agree with is that the mp3008 can be removed and put the mp40 in its place, and instead of the mp40 give a suomi with a box magazine if the vg1-5 replaces the fg42 and the fg42-2 goes to the snipers
By the way increasing the AR will affect the Vg1-5, the damage will be 10.2. I would have increased the limit of semi-automatic rifles in addition to 20-25%, this would make it better for everyone.
Yes, instead of pz4 J you could have just given Pz4 H and that would have been better. Why they didn’t do that, I don’t know.

That’s a good question, but 99% quit or just don’t play berlin Axis is because of 1. berlin axis is bascially normandy axis copy pasted; 2. low-level axis stuff is almost all crap. Espicially mp3008 vs pps42 and Panzer IV vs T-3485, completely bullshit. I personally have 45% winrate difference in Berlin, cause axis is always full of bots or newbiebes

I was just suggesting an option in the form of mp40 (or mp38, as you said) and pz4 h.
That would have already made the situation a lot better
You can try MKB35, which does 10.08 damage.
I have a g43 kurz and it’s good,
I assure you that 10.2 is what you need for the kurz along with good accuracy and a 5% improvement in rate of fire when upgrading.
I would start with that and look at the rest.
I don’t think it’s possible, because it would make ARs too strong, espicially against boltactions, that’s not what devs want.
Now I only hope they could add STG44 sniper into Normandy as soon as possible, this gun feels incredible after damage buff, just a waste to give Berlin because I think nobody would stay there.
This only gives a chance in close combat, but will not kill if the opponent with the health perk, do not forget. It’s okay.

Don’t forgot that in terms of smallarms, 99% are the same between Berlin and Normandy. Just like 99% there would be a FG42II trooper as a radioman II weapon, that’s why they separate FG42II and FG42II sniper in the file(just in the major update).
Me262 is highly impossible, it would be too OP with bombs, but a crap without bomb. Hard to balance. MG42? Why you still care about german MGs? If u have used 1919A6(which has almost no horizontal recoil) u would realise all german MGs are crap, no matter with 50 or 75 or 100. Unless with 250 it would be worth using.

You are absolutely wrong.
The Me-262 has no bombs and no armor-piercing ammunition at the cannons.
It would be a fighter with 24 r4m missiles against aircraft (about 3-3.5 times weaker than the m8). When the missiles result in proper penetration and damage r4m will not penetrate tanks at all, but will allow to shoot down heavy planes like p-61, which I suggested for USA.
In addition, against it I suggested Tempest mk2, which flies 720km/h, while me262 - 840. Given that the me is not good at gaining speed, the Tempest will be able to catch up to it if the me raft is inexperienced.
This naturally goes hand in hand with the improvement of mg42. The reload should be faster, and the spread should be 0.55 instead of 0.68.
On the Russian side of the forum, I agree with the US side players. We’ll put together common improvements that will fix both sides (bad US early to mid-level weapons, insanely powerful missiles, inaccurate German machine guns, Thompson sights).
Everyone will get what they want.
Honestly the 262 wouldn’t need the rockets since it’s guns are 4 mk108s which are good for cas as it is…I also just want a proper gun CAS like a-10 …
No it wont, because Berlin is not ruined. And Amercians would get Johnson 1941 LMG, which is more stable than FG42II, but with pretty bad sight. If FG42II is really that powerful as you imagine Berlin would already be german bot farming simulator for months, but its just the opposite. I still lose tons of matches with 42II, doesn’t change anything.
Because playerbase is always more important than weapons
