Because LMGs acted as assault rifles / all acted like BAR.
They down/kill in 1 hit.
Now anyone can just spray in the general direction of someone without aiming, and kill them.
This change was an unnecessary CQC buff.

dude everyone misses a point… Before implementing such dogshits, they need to fix the others dogshits. Making LMG only good for bipod fire when bipod mounting mechanics are trash is a bad idea…

Certainly with some MGS (like MG34/42)
It felt like it was abit too much just being able to run around with them and shoot on the move.
But some others, like the MG13 it felt like they acted quite nicely, if not like low level semi auto rifles.
The main thing on the nerf was to stop people running and gunning, which i am all for.

gosh you guys seriously should join the armed forces of your respective countries and learn how to shoot the MG.
you fire bursts and bursts only. you kill on distance. nobody uses full automatic fire, unless they’re one of these ragheads that go crazy due to lack of qualitative high grade haji pussy. naturally, using full auto the bullets will spread and not hit the exact point every single time. is like you never even watched a documentary…

although, i can still use the mg even without bipod

I find now more useful lmg in cqc now bullet dispersion dont need me to aim anymore simply move your mouse left and rigth maybe they complain because they need think how use it now?
I join the “Recoil malus when on the move would have made more sense than arbitrary RNG spread” side.
