DP-27 is a beast of a gun. Stalin’s record player deals better damage than mosin1890/1930 and when laying down on the ground, it’s very accurate.
I pulled one too yesterday. It’s a shame that I don’t have the gunner squad upgraded.
Imo the DP-27 needs a bit of a nerf, as compared to the MG13 (or MG42, depending on how you look at it), it can actually be used in full auto, while the MG13 needs to be used in bursts because of its recoil.

Same story when comparing ppd-34 and mp40. ppd jumps everywhere because it has insane recoil where mp40 can be used for medium-longer ranges
but the PPD has a much higher rate of fire.
And the drum variant has much more ammo so its more akin to a LMG
