I can’t grind other soldiers than engineers in this mode, especially in Invasion!
Every time I’m other class I have to run 200m from respawn to point and kill myself/pick up weapons when run out of ammo (30 rounds in SVT ends very quickly) - and that is very frustrating to me.
It’s pretty standard that at end of the game I’m the only one who build ANYTHING!
I won’t ask “why you doesn’t build” because at this forum maybe 200 people is active, and people like that probably never came here. I’m just angry.
My solution? Make ammo boxes and rally point be instant-build. That few seconds violates dignity of noobs
Many guys prefer using an assaulter, gunner or tanker instead of engineer
Many guys just don’t like to build anything, I guess, they’re waiting for someone to do it for them so they could farm kills instead
Some guys don’t have engineers. Or don’t have enough engineers - for example, they have stock squads. Or almost stock. Or engineers are the last soldiers they unlock for the squad.
Nobody teaches them how to use engies. Nobody tells them how important they are. That’s not just lack of guides, but also bad training mode. And I guess devs won’t rework it in next months because they are busy solving other problems and adding content.
And many of your teammates are just bots. Bots can’t build rallies. Hope that’ll change in the next patch with “gamerooms” for lone fighters.
definetely, these are all the reasons plus, there’s is people that doesnt have premium so they get limited squads. For example, I always take engineers with me in all 3 basic squads, one of them being the engineer specific squad. But as of now im playing normandy and i dont have most squads upgraded. That gets me stuck with a bomber squad and no engineers for a while. While at the same time i have other two squads that have one engineer that might get killed or no engineers at all.
Noob question this but trying to learn. What IS the use of an engineer ? From what I can see, most of the battle fields have everything you need. Foxholes, bunkers, machine gun emplacements, sandbagged cover. What would an engineer need to build in this environment ?
Not much seen in lone mode, but in squad mode, only engineers can build rally point which is very crucial for the match. Also, build extra sand bags, barbed wire, tank traps, AA, ATG, MG can do help especially on defense side.
