I came back after 4 months of break and

I missed out on a lot.
I spend the first hours of the game getting to know the changes in armies and organizing my equipment.
Is a million silver received a lot? He went quickly. Split into BR forced me to make large purchases, such as grenades and TNT.
I divided my infantry units into BRs.
Here’s my first question: units have their own BR or just weapons?

Nice surprise. At lower BR, players, although often less experienced, do not quit the game as often as players at high BR.
There are a lot of deserters on BR IV and V. You can see that these are old players with habits who quit the game as soon as the bullet passes over their heads.
The problem of desertion has always been a big problem.
Additionally, I have the impression that the planes were randomly assigned to BR.
There is a high disproportion in the equipment at high BR between veterans and new players.

My second question is for players who know if the game is the same as in WT, that to unlock the next level you need to unlock several things in the lower one or can you go to one branch?

only weapons and vehicles.

perks do not affect br of the soldier. matter of fact, soldiers or squad type do not count towards the battle rating ( as of yet ) only equipment such as weapons, airplanes and tanks.

true.

let’s hope in those announced penalties to put some people in place.

in war thunder, it’s similar, but slighlty more forgiving.

meaning that if you had enough tanks/planes in a rank, you were able to research and buy the others. while not being forced to research early stuff.

enlisted one, requires to fully research and buy most of the tech.

rule of thumb, if an item is yellow, it means you will need to research and buy previous stuff to then be able to buy that item.

The Deserters in BR4-5 are mostly BR3 gamblers. They want to dominate BR1-2 battles. So they desert in a high Tier battle.
My suggestion: Change matchmaker to BR1-2, BR3-4 and one for BR5 only.

This ^
And for simplicity, let’s call them BR 1.2.3 (we don’t need 5).

Yeap, if you already got all things in 6 campaign. And no, if you was main for one side in one campaign. But it still a lot, but not enough.

A little. I had to spend almost everything on grenades, TNT and restoring perks.
