I am so tired of getting all of these flamethrowers and mortars

It is my understanding that flame and mortar troops come with their own weapons. So I ask…what is the point of giving us extra flamethrowers and mortars? We can’t improve them, deconstruct them for parts…they are completely useless it seems.

They should be removed from random weapon drop rolls, or we should be able to either deconstruct them and use them to make something…like plane parts or tank parts/repair kits or you should allow the weapons to be upgraded like all other weapons.

Im sure mortar and flamethrower would get upgrade. Like anti tank weapon they before couldnt upgraded, now they can

I don’t think so. They will probably will just give more advanced/newer weapon. For example, M1 Flamethrower/M2 Flamethrower and in the future PIAT/Bazooka.

They are supposed to be upgradeable and such, but that feature isn’t in yet. It was the same with AT rifles, but that has been rectified, at least in Moscow.

And is the same with all weapons that can have the ‘extra/ custom tuning’ which isn’t available yet.

The second flamethrower guy and mortarman you can add in your squad don’t come equipped with them. It’s why you need all the 56 of them from bronze orders. To equip those 2 guys. :stuck_out_tongue:

On other hand, I still can’t understand why only mortars and Flametrowers are only avaiable to their squads. I would use mortars or flametrowers more If I could equip other squads with them.

I won’t swap a squad over them, but I would like to have mortars avaiable to be selected on other squads techtrees

I believe it is so because if they were available to every squads, the whole maps would be constantly ablaze. It would look a bit like biblical hell :thinking:

I suggest changing any sideweapon of this type on a machine parts. 1 on 2, or tier-like - 1st tier 1>3, 2st tier 1>2, 3rd tier 1>1. That would remove an excessive side weapons, give us parts for machines we don’t upgrade - like CAS’ses, so it would save silver cards for machines upgrade
Also, it won’t be unbalanced, like, swapping 80 shturmpistoles on 80 parts would give you like 1-2 stars and no more, so the balance won’t suffer
Or, we simply can cap the count of these weapons with a count of soldiers that can use it in this campaign.
2 mortar soldiers, 2 mortars, 10 anti-tanks, 10 PIAT’s. Less useful, but also make sense, and convert excessive side weps to at least bronze wep cards
