I am slowly losing the will to play the game and these 25000 point events

The title’s just that. I advise the event format be changed to the one from the saboteur event or most likely I’m not going to be the only player that takes a break from this game due to fatigue

Wake me up when cosmetics update releases

One of the unfair things is that they don’t let you choose the prize. I’m in phase 3 of the event, and the irony is, I don’t even want to participate; I’m just farming. So at least they should let you choose what you want, and technically there should be something for both sides.

Saboteurs was the perfect format. Higher requirement per reward, but open-ended timeline, and ability to choose the reward (or get all of them, which i imagine most people were able to do). I don’t care for the saboteur class really, but i enjoyed unlocking them cause the format wasn’t stressful, and I’m sure I’ll throw them into a lineup at some point for kicks.

If it is a meh event prize, I just ignore the event and play custom matches. If it is a weapon I really want, but don’t want to grind, I just buy it. Not everyone can have that attitude, but being retired with basically no hobbies to spend money on, it doesn’t kill me to buy them.

To be honest, I have donated so much money to Gaijin, it would be nice if they would throw those who financially support them a bone now and then. If they would just unlock my premium squads, I would call it even.

Yeah, actually i unlocked 2 of them, the Japanese and German one, but it was mostly because their SMGs, in this case they could have use a similar system, like 60k XP for a entire Squad, or 30K XP per ticket for 1 gun

I really would like to have that attitude XD, I’m very interested in the soviets armory but im not interested in unlock a entire faction again , after i unlock all in Japan most likely I’ll stay in the game mainly for good events or custom Matches

I was initially stressing to get them all, unlocked german and japanese, then figured that was good enough, and then unlocked the other 2 by accident and then still had like 1.5 weeks left.

The 25k for me takes dedication. If i get 5k in a match that’s a very good match for me, and finding the time to play 5 matches in 2 days while working a fulltime job, having friends, and especially right now watching playoff hockey every night, it’s kind of a slog.

Yeah, it is sometimes, the G43 DFR event for example was a bit heavy for me, all the tasks with not too much time to play and trying to keep updated in other games events too

The trick is not to FOMO yourself into oblivion.

Remember, it’s just a game.

I really enjoy very slow progression, i spend very very little silver because i like to “git gud” with what i have now, and then slowly side-grade, like adding backpacks and grenades, upgrading a couple guns from 0 to 3 stars and then “feeling them out” for a bit to see if i like them. All that to say I’m only br2 level with Germany and usa, but have 350k silver in reserve. I know for 99% of people silver boxes are a bad idea, for me i really like the idea. I prefer to slowly grind silver and then dump it into probably totally losing boxes than to fomo events into madness. Today was my day 60 login, and i got ONE silver box from it (smfh) which was a fancy-boy hammer. But it’s my first one, so that was pretty cool. I can always play a game or 2 and get enough silver to buy 5 grenades, or upgrade 6 guns, or whatever. But there’s no way to get the old squads and weapons other than BOX.

I’m not chasing BR5, so I don’t mind it, though i understand why the prevailing wisdom is “silver boxes are a trap,” for me it’s the opposite.

I just like collecting stuff. So, it’s all good.
