I designed this hypothetical update to be as easy to do for the devs by reusing stuff from warthunder and enlisted editor while still giving enough content to keep the playerbase happy.
Japan

Chi-ha type 97
It will have HEAT and AP shells instead of the HEAT and HE combo of the premium tank. A very similar thing has already happened with moscow premium panzer 4e and tech tree panzer 4e. It will also just have standard brown colour instead of camo. Tech tree chi-ha is needed because japan lacks good br 1 tanks and it is one of the most produced and well known tanks japan used in ww2.

Chi-ha kai type 97
The event version will get new unique skin making it similar to other event vehicle skins like m5 stuart carol. Tech tree variant will have the standard green colour. Chi ha kai would give variety for br 1 japan tanks but also it is too iconic to be locked behind silver crates.

This plane has 2x wing mounted 7.7mm machineguns and it would come with one 250kg bomb making it an awesome br 1 attacker plane and much better alternative than that depressing hydroplane. It can be easily ported from warthunder

Type Ko with scope mount
Japan needs a self loading sniper rifle. Every other nation has one except Japan and type Ko sniper would be easy to make since they just need to add scope to the existing weapon model.

A6M5
It already is fully functional in the editor so might as well use it. It is a slightly improved a6m2 with more 20mm ammo and better flight performance. Due to the small bomb load of just 2 60kg bombs i feel it would still be fine in br 2

KI-44 Otsu
Same as with a6m5. Japan needs more planes and it is fully functional in editor. It comes with 40mm cannons that run out very fast and 2 100kg bombs

Germany is the only nation that doesnāt have tech tree br 3 howitzer tank. To fix this Stuh 42 would get added since it already can be found in editor and would require very little effort to add.

I think every nation deserves to have tech tree anti air some day but because wirbelwind has been sitting in the editor for a while i think it would make perfect sense to add it as soon as possible. The turret is bugged but im sure it could be fixed

Jagdpanzer 38t Hetzer
A very iconic tank destroyer. It will probably not be meta or anything but we have gotten other non meta vehicles like Churchill 7 solely because they are iconic and well known. Once again hetzer can be found in the editor

Suomi kp-31 sjr
After Danuvia 39m got dropped to br 4 germany has been lacking br 5 smgs that arenāt legacy items or or battlepass guns. Suomi Kp-31sjr would be a cool representation of a minor axis nation while also being extremely easy to add because the gun is fully implemented in editor. Would be the perfect weapon for br 5 german tank crews and guerillas.

Panzerfaust 30
Current grb 39 feels very uncomfortable to use due to the sights and extremely long reload speed. Other nations get fast firing bazookas and rocket launchers while Germany is stuck with slow firing ones. Panzerfaust 30 would fix that while also being a relatively easy addition since the gun exists in editor but still needs a unique texture since it is using placeholder panzerfaust 100 model.

Bf-109 G2 Trop
It would have one 250kg bomb and very good flight performance. Germanyās br 3 fighter planes are underwhelming since bf109 f4 trop has no bombs and focke wulf only comes with 2 rockets and terrible flight performance. Bf 109 g2 would be low effort addition but it would be significant improvement for the german tech tree

M1A1 Thompson 20
Very easy to implement since they just have to swap the magazine. 20 round m1a1 would be much more fair for br 2 and the current 30 round one would be put back into br 3.

Lewis gun
Too iconic weapon to be locked behind events and premium squads. We will probably never see the .303 british variant in tech tree now that it is an event weapon but at least we should get the american one. They can copy it from the soviet premium squad. This already has happened with arisaka type 38 carbine and m3 lee so it should not be a problem

M1A2 Carbine 30
American vg 1-5 counterpart that would give some variety for allied br 3 rifles. M1a2 with 15 rounds already exists in the editor so they will just have to give it a 30 round magazine and copy the reload animation from m2 carbine.

M1918A2 40
The br 4 american lmg selection is quite underwhelming. Johnson lmg is significantly worse than browning m1918a2 from br 3 and it is not worth using. Browning m1918a2 with 40 round field modified mag would be a much better alternative and it would be comparable with sig ke 7 50 and mg 34 patronentrommel.

AEC Mk 2
Fully functional British armored car that can be found in the editor. There is no real reason to not use it and I think it would be a nice variation in br 2 for those who donāt like using crusaders. Currently AEC has AP and APC ammo which should be modified to be APC and HE since only having armour piercing shells would be terrible in br 2.

M4A3E8 76 W
Probably the most recognized Sherman variant. I still despise seeing m4a2 76w in american tech tree instead of easy eight. It would be a small improvement over the other br 4 76mm shermans making it a much more fair counterpart to panther.

Beaufighter MK 6C
This beaufighter is equipped with bombs instead of rockets like the br 4 variant. Allies currently lack br 3 attacker aircraft (excluding event and premiums) so this would be very useful and easy to add since it is in editor. Great counterpart to bf 110 f2

Typhoon mk Lb/L
Allies donāt have any br 4 fighter planes after corsair got put in br 5. Typhoon would fix that with 2x 500 lb or 250lb bombs and 4 20mm cannons it would be an ideal counter to KI 100 and bf 109 g.

PPD 40 (box mag)
It would be a unique and interesting alternative to the pps 43. It would be easy to add since they just have to change ppd 40s mag and reload animation.

DP-27 Hopper fed
Madsen is very underwhelming compared to guns like zb vz 26. Hopper fed DP 27 would hopefully fix that and finally give soviets br 2 lmg worth using.

ZIS-30
ZIS-30 can be found in the editor and it would be kinda like soviet marder. It would get no HE rounds so it can stay in br 1 and it would give new players a weapon against more heavily armored br 2 tanks.

BR 4
ISU-152
Now when KV 2 is br 3 this would take its place. It has the same cannon but also a top mounted DSHK heavy machinegun and very durable frontal armour. On the downside it has very slow reload, no rotating turret and no coax machinegun making it vulnerable to infantry attacks. This would be a great way for br 4 players to counter king tigers if uptiered.

T-44-100
New top tank for ussr. Is-2 1944 has always felt underwhelming due to the slow reload and unreliable armour. This has led many to prefer the t34-100 event tank because its 100mm cannon has proven to be the perfect compromise between fast firing 85mm and high penetration 122mm. The T44 100 would be the perfect counter to Tiger 2h since both have extremely thick frontal plate but weak turret.

SU-2 MV-5
Ussr is the only faction lacking any br 1 attacker aircraft which is unacceptable. This plane would come with 2x 100kg bombs making it ideal for br 1 aircraft selection.

New battlefield
Manchuria
Here are 4 different maps in the Manchuria setting. Considering how long we have waited for this I believe it would be fair to at least receive 2 of these maps and the rest can be added later. Letās not forget that Manchuria will be the entire soviet vs japan front and we donāt want people to get bored by just playing 1 map over and over again. It seems that map reworks have taken priority this year and I do appreciate that they are improving old missions but it should not replace new maps entirely. This year we have gotten just 1 new map which is very small and pales in comparison to last yearās Burma and Rzhev maps. I really hope the devs have been working on Manchuria this entire time which would explain the lack of new maps.
Hailar Fortress
Partially underground fortress with bunkers, trenches and pillboxes. Nearby hills have been turned into defensive positions. The area of the fortress was about 50 square kilometers so it would be scaled down. Fighting will take place in the trenches and bunkers above as well as the underground maze. No objectives will be underground but it will serve as an alternative flanking route. New sets of trenches and tunnels will be modeled and they will be reused in other places of the Manchuria map.
Possible gamemodes: Conquest (large), invasion, destruction
Mudanjiang city
Outskirts of the city consist of hills, forests and rivers. Light defenses such as bunkers and trenches surround the city. In the center of the city there is a railway station that will be one of the control points. Japanese army HQ and industrial facilities also exist. The rest of the buildings are small 1-2 story buildings and streets are narrow. Lots of new buildings for modders

Dongning Fortified district
The terrain is harsh. Lots of mountains, ravines and forests that will cause difficulties for tanks. The Muling river will flow through the area. Fortifications are similar to Hailar but on a smaller scale. The town of Dongning is located behind the defensive line working as the final objective. It uses the small buildings from Mudanjiang

Qiqihar
Qiqihar is a traditional Chinese walled city. Soviets will have to go through the thick walls that surround the city similar to the Moscow monastery map. Inside the city you will find Manchukuo administrative buildings, barracks and traditional temples. The more modern parts of the city are outside the walls including the train station, residential buildings and post offices. The streets are wide and built in a grid pattern unlike in Mudanjiang. Many of the buildings will be reused from Mudanjiang but there will also be new taller and bigger buildings for variety.

This squad would be an easy way for new players to get a fully equipped engineer squad in low br. It would introduce unique mountaineer clothes and the engineers can build anything. The weapon itself is not that different from standard kar-98k but it was designed specifically for mountaineers making it very fitting for this squad.

This is the weaker variant of the T44 with only 85mm cannon. We have already gotten a weaker variant of Ho-ri as premium so this would be very similar to that. Maybe it will be helpful if you want to cycle tanks. It would be easy to implement along with t44 100 so it wouldnāt waste too much development time.

Avs 36 in br 3 sounds scary but it could get much worse recoil due to the skeletal stock and it only has 15 round mags + paratroopers cannot get large ammo bags. Paratroopers played a vital role in the Soviet invasion of Manchuria so this squad would fit the theme of the update quite well.
